Sarah waited

"Okay, there is some energy left," said Stacey.

"No enough," said the voice.

"Not enough?" Sarah asked aloud

"I think it will be!" replied Stacey

"He's wrong," said the voice.

Sarah shook her head

"You.... don;t think so?" asked Stacey hurt as he saw Sarah shake her head.

"Self doubt well really make it fail," said the Voice.

Sarah sighed

"I don't know about magic... you can give it a try" she said

"Okay.  I just need some chalk," said Stacey

"Fine" Sarah said

"You got some?" asked Stacey.

"Why would I have chalk?" Sarah asked

"Should I go get the chalk you left in the lab?" Mark asked

"Sure Mark!  Thanks!" grinned Stacey, sort of ignoring Sarah's question.

Mark nodded and ran off

Sarah scowled at being ignored

Stacey jumped into the now drained pool, looking around.

Sarah watched saying nothing

"Sarah, could you come down here?" called Stacey.

"Please d-don't...." said the voice.

"Why?" Sarah asked addressing both

"Cause this is where the magic is!" said Stacey.

"I don;t wanna go back!" said the voice.

"Fine" Sarah said

"You're not. I'll only be there for him to try and then  I'm leaving" she thought

"Good!" said Stacey.

"You better!" said the voice.

"You're not the boss of me" Sarah thought as she climbed in

"Oh really?" said the voice.  If it had a face it would be grinning.
