Zamy finished her ice cream then headed for the rides.

Zark nodded and pointed at a stall a little further down.

Mephiles took Rouge to the dimension where he immediately got into a struggle with her.

"Let's go then." Zunnie chose a large stuffed toy and headed off to the other stall.

Rouge kept kicking as Shadow intervened, the former hoping Mephiles would remain vulnerable long enough to consider fleeing.

"Sorry, Uncle Miles" he said. "I didn' see you there! Let's go find Ziona an' Auntie Harmony!"

"I think they went to the arcade," said Miles.

Mephiles returned when he saw Shadow prepare a Chaos Spear. Before he could strike Rouge dragged him to a connecting room and shut the door. He had dropped the tablet next to Mephiles. Inside Hope could hear her yelling at him about not informing anyone he was heading dwn to the reactor. Mephiles now stood inside the barrier.

"Everything is going to plan," he thought.

"I thin' I see the arcade!" Dylan said excitedly. "Ziona an' Auntie Harmony mus' be there!"
