Dylan giggled again at that statement

"I think I saw Skye with Harmony, Melody and Tikal earlier. I bet they were talking about gross love stuff"

"There's nothing gross about love stuff," said Ziona with childish indignance, crossing her arms. "And I've got a boyfriend, which makes it doubly not gross, so NYAH!" she added, sticking out her tongue.

"Let's... just find Skye," said Miles.

"And to think not five minutes ago you were boasting about how your personality hadn't changed," said Miles to Ziona. She blinked.

"Uh, well... Maybe it has a little," admitted Ziona.

Anna came running down the corridor, almost running into Zamy. "Oh, hi there! Do you know where my brother and sisters are?" She looked behind her. "Huh, Dad was right behind me...."

"It has for us all" Dylan said sadly. "I didn't want it too. Now I don't know what thoughts come from me and what comes from the stupid transformation!"

"Hey Anna. Well Harmony's right there, but Skye and Melody are talking to Tikal somewhere. Really bad timing on their part frankly."

(ooc: Actually, Harmony went to find Skye, Tikal and Melody.)

"Yeah. I can't imagine a worse time. Poor Tikal. Wait, why would Melody want to talk to him?" asked Anna.

Ziona walked over to Dylan and put her hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry. I'm really sure it won't affect you once you grow up again in a week."

"I have had an idea about undoing them," said Miles. "But it will take me some time."

Dylan smiled at Ziona trying to comfort him. Then when Miles mentioned an idea, he looked up at him

"What is it?" he asked

"No idea. Harmony went to get them so she should be here any second with the pair."

(ooc: No worries. There are a lot of characters around. And a lot not in their right mind, so... Plus, I'm waiting for Locke before I have Harmony reach them)

"I hope so. I don't want to run all over Haven looking for them," said Melody.

"I think we're approaching how the magic in the pool works wrong. Which is why dispels weren't working. Rather than thinking of it like a spell, think of it like a magic potion," explained Miles

"Huh?" Dylan asked very confused by what Miles just said

Miles blinked. Had his explanation been that confusing. Or was Dylan....

"Do you know what a magic potion is? Well, it's different from a normal spell. And it's like you fell into one."

"I know what it is, but how is the pool one? And how can it be different if they're both like magic?" Dylan asked Miles, still very confused. "Do you understand this, Ziona?"

Ziona shook her head. "No. Except, I know potions are different from spells. But..."

"I don't know how the pool is one, but I think that's how it's working. And the difference is that potions react and are absorbed by the person. They're fueled by the person's own energy. While most spells are powered by magic in the environment."

"Um... okay" Dylan said slowly making sense of it all. "So the reason why this transformation was going to last a month was because I was giving it the energy to do it?

He was starting to sound upset at the whole idea

"Yes, that is how it works. The same way you're body needs energy to move, breathe, think and so on," explained Miles. "That is why it is so hard, close to impossible, to dispel."

"But don't you need to drink potions?" asked Ziona.

"You probably did drink some of the water. But it could work with skin contact as well." To illustrate his point, Miles held up his arms that were still coloured orange.

"So, it's like part of you when you get it?" Dylan was beginning to cry. "I didn't want it to happen though. How do you stop it?"

Glen lied down on the couch, tired . He quickly fell into a slumber ...

"I guess not. Maybe we got lucky with Skye being changed like that. Hey Skye, any chance of a hug for your sister?" asked Melody.

"Yeah! Swure thwing Melwodee!" said Skye, jumping up and hugging her.

Harmony came round the corner, looking relieved that everyone seemed happy,.

"Melody, Zamy wanted to talk to you. And I think Dylan and Ziona were looking for you Skye."

"I might, might mind you, be able to create another potion to undo the effects. Or at least control them," said Miles. "But that will take time."

"Wait, does this mean, once we're back to normal, you could make a potion that could turn us to what we wanted to be in the pool?" asked Ziona.

Dylan wiped away his tears. Although he really wanted to change back, a small part of him felt he would miss being like this

"You don't want to be like this. And you hate transformations" he tried telling himself but couldn't seem to get rid of the feeling

"Yeah, could you?" Dylan asked a little reluctantly

"Actually, that would be a lot easier than undoing the effects early," said Miles. "But I'd still need to study how the pool... 'works' first."

"So.... you could make it so I could become a kid when I wanted?" asked Ziona.

"Possibly, yes."

"What does she want to see me about?" asked Melody.

"I think it would be better if she explained," said Harmony.

"I would need to fit it in with my vacations," sighed Ziona. "And... I'd need to make sure Glen was cool with it to. He did seem angry about this. But if he had warning, maybe he'd be okay."

"Cwan I see Dwylan and Zwiona?" asked Skye.

"Once I've taken Melody to Zamy, I'll take you to them", said Harmony, starting to push Melody's wheelchair.
