"Hmm. I know the Zone had a worldwide were-hog curse, until recently. And that they were making some attempt to spread it. And the the DEL is more potent in that world than this one," said Miles, thinking back.

"Any way I can get a ticket upgrade?" asked Ziona. "I'm not sure if you need to worry yet. Once he gets more settled into his new life I think he'll stop being... well, he'll stop following you like a little puppy. If he doesn't, then you need to worry."

"Really... uh, you are cured as well, right?" asked Miles sounding nervous.

"I should be. I was knocked out around the time the others here fixed everything. And even if I wasn't, this would help stop me transforming or at least keep me in the right state of mind" Dylan said pointing to his teleporter. "But it was what the other Miles used against me"

Miles let out a silent 'oh'. "So he unleashed your curse against the others? That's ingen... horrific!"

Dylan gave Miles a look when he said 'ingen' but carried on anyway

"Yes it is horrific. I could've killed them. I'm not sure I could've lived with it had I succeeded. You can see why I hated him so much?"

"Yes. I think I can," said Miles. In some way's it's not that different to what he did with Zamy. Only less creepy"

"Sure. Just pay the fee," joked Zamy. "It's either worry at that stage or just deal with it."

"Will another toaster cover the fee?" asked Ziona. "I'm not sure dealing with it would be the best option. Wouldn't it mean he has some kind of... physiological issue if that was the case."

"Potentially yes. He'd be very clingy to anyone he grows attached to."

Ziona though for a moment. "That possibly applies to any of his counterparts at his age though."

"Hmm... you do have a point. Perhaps this is normal for him."

"Maybe. I think it's probably exaggerated given the circumstances, but not as much as you might expect," said Ziona.

"You could be on to something. So long as he doesn't think I'm the one who gave birth to him we should be ok for the moment. I don't mind his attachment."

"Just as well you don't mind, otherwise this would be really awkward," said Ziona. "And unless he suffers a bout of amnesia like Skye did, I'll be surprised he he starts thinking of you as that."

"Yeah. So let's hope he doesn't get any bumps on the head. I don't want to make up a story about his imaginary father leaving us."

Ziona blinked, not sure if Zamy was being serious or not. "I think that might mess him up more. Especially if he ever got his memories back."

Ziona relaxed. "For a second I thought you were being serious!"

Zamy laughed. "I'm not that crazy."

"Thank goodness. Anyway, there's easier way's to brainwash someone than hoping they loose their memories!"
