"Good idea," said Ziona. She turned to the kids and growled at them.  "Your father and I will be right back.  And if any of you even THINK about using magic, I swear you'll be grounded for so long when you come out you'll need walking sticks."  She was absolutely furious.

Dominic looked shocked

"I'm not hiding! It's being weird!" Sarah said

"So don't try!" Replied Seviper.

 

"I won't! I don't wanna grow up!" Said Fenn.

Zoe looked terrified.  She dropped her head.  "I'll be good Mommy," said said quietly.

"Good.  Let's go," said Ziona storming out.

"I'm not being weird," said the water figure, copying Sarah's voice.

"Right behind you." Said Seviper following Ziona.

"If that little runt isn't in the lab, he's probably breaking our rules and hanging out in the library," said Ziona.

"Wait til I get my tail on that punk!" Said Seviper.

"He's gonna regret messing with our kids," said Ziona as she barged into the library.

"I'm gonna make him hurt....badly." Said Seviper angrily."

 

"It's okay Zoe! Everything will be okay!" Said Fenn trying to cheer her sister up.

Dominic moved over to hug Zoe

Sarah looked shocked

"Tell it to stop!" she said

"But Mommy is so mad.." said Zoe, hugging Dominic back.

"I'm not sure I can," said Skye, before jumping as Ziona shouted 'THERE YOU ARE!'

"We should've asked my mom and dad" Dominic said

Sarah jumped as well in fright then sat down and hugged her legs overwhelmed by everything

"Mommy will cool down soon!" Said Fenn.

 

"Let's pulverize him!" Said Seviper.

"My mommy and Daddy would still have said no," said Zoe.  "I.... I hope so Fenn."

Skye took a step back.  "Whoa, whoa!  What did I do?" asked Skye shocked.

The water figure went over to Sarah.  "Shhh, don;t be scared," it said gently.

"Not fair" Dominic said

"I know... but... they said so!" said Zoe.

"Why?  I just want to help," said the figure.

"Yeah..." Dominic said looking down

"I don't need help from water* Sarah said trying to turn away

"Don't play dumb with us!" Said Seviper.

 

"It'll be fine! I'm always right!" Said Fenn confidently.

Zoe sniffled, but couldn't help but smile a little and Fenn's enthusiasm.

"Then why do you feel so lonely?" asked the figure.

"I have NO idea what's going on," said Skye, starting to get angry.

Dominic nodded in agreement with Fenn

"I'm not lonely!" Sarah insisted

Zoe smiled and hugged them both.

"You can't lie to me.  Just yourself," said the figure.

Fenn then nuzzled Zoe and Dominic.

 

"We're talking about using magic on those kids!" Said Seviper.

Dominic hugged back happily

"I said to leave me alone" Sarah said

Zoe giggled with the hugs and nuzzles.

"What? No I wasn't gonna use magic.  I knew you and Ziona would shoot the idea down!" said Skye.

"But I want to help," pleaded the water.

Dominic started giggling as well

"I don't want or need your help!" Sarah insisted
