"No it doesn't!" said Stacey.  "If it wasn't for magic, me, Mark, Dominic and Zoe wouldn't be here!"

"That's true... but that was still an accident!" pointed out Ziona.

"But Mark's right, I have to fix my balance!" continued Stacey.

"I don't think you can even remember what you're complaining about," said Skye.

"It was like with me... when my balance was broken... but it didn't work this time" Mark said

"We just need to fix this. After this...no more magic. It's caused enough problems...as of late." Said Seviper.

"I think..." Mark looked at the circle and the smudged symbols.  "I think I know what went wrong..."  He looked up at Seviper.  "But... but... I like magic!" he insisted.

"I think I messed up the symbols," said Stacey pointing.

"Tough luck. That's how it goes." Said Seviper

"Please can I keep using magic?" Stacey begged. "Pretty please?"

"Only to fix your balance!" Said Seviper

"Can I... use it with supervision for other things?" asked Stacey,

"Only if there's a responsible adult. And by responsible I mean Ziona." Said Seviper.

 

"Mommy isn't responsible." Said Fenn.

"I am too responsible!  I'm a cop! Why do you think I'm not responsible?" asked Ziona a little shocked.

"Um... how're you going to stop him using magic?" Mark asked

"I'm sure he can give us his word of honor," said Ziona, causing Stacey to gulp.

"Honor is the greatest weapon a ninja has in his arsenal." Said Seviper.

 

"Because you like Daddy!" Said Fenn.

"Which is why it will work," said Ziona, then she looked at Fenn.  "So just cause I like your father that makes me silly?" she asked.
