"I'm... still not used to my tails yet..." said Miles uncomfortably as Skye started to draw level again.

Melody buried her face in her hands.  "Yes, please do!"

"Awww... but I know you can still do i!" Dominic said smiling

Miles smiled at Dominic's encouragement and spun his tails faster.

"Wheeeeeeee!" Dominic cheered again

HRH Hope came over.

"Do you still have your gifts?"

[Skye Prower 386]

"Oh no! I'm not letting you have it that easily!" said Skye, speeding up too.

"I left the dress at you castle actually.  A mission wasn't the place to take it," said Melody

"Ok we can head back and get it then. Plus your friend has earned something."

Topaz smiled.

"Thanks. Nice to know I'm appreciated."

"We're gonna win!" Dominic called to Skye

Melody hugged Topaz.  "You did great out there.  Thanks so much for saving me."

"No you're not!" sqealed Zoe as both foxes were neck and neck again

"No problem. Not bad for someone you just met."

"Yeah we will!" Dominic said

"yeah!" Melody laughed.  "But that does seem to be my life since I came back!"

"No you won't, no you won't!" chanted Zoe as they neared the film room.

"Come on Uncle Miles! Almost there!" Dominic said

Both Miles and Skye speeded up, but as they reached the door, their spinning tails caught on each other.

Dominic didn't notice

"I don't doubt that."

Hope teleported the group back to the castle.

Dominic would notice a moment later as the tails tangled up with each other, sending Skye and Miles sprawling to the ground.

"I bet Hope's told you some of the crazy stuff that's happened."

"A few of them, yes. Make me glad I don't go on that island often."

Dominic fell forward landing on the ground hard. He stayed quiet a minute then let out a wolfish howl and hugged his legs which were hurt

"Yes, it can get pretty crazy!" said Melody.

Zoe rolled forward and smacked into the doorframe.  She started crying hard, a little trickle of blood coming from her forehead.

Ske and Miles weren't badly hurt in the fall, but their tails ached so much the couldn't do anything but whimper.

 

Ziona came out of the room looking shocked.  "What happened?" she gasped in surprise.

"W-we fell d-down!" he said

"Your dress is in the other room," said HRH Hope.

Ziona knelt down and hugged both Dominic and Zoe, the latter clinging to her.  "It'll be okay kids.  You'll both be okay."

Dominic hugged back

 

"But it hurts!" he cried

"What would you like?" she asked Topaz.

"I could do with something for my mantlepiece."

HRH Hope went into another room and returned, holding a beautifully decorated gold version of her seal in one hand, and a saber in the other.

"These might be to your liking," she smiled.
