Mark pulled on his ear again

"Uh... yeah... you look... nice" he said nervously

"Thanks... but... I guess this is scary for you, huh?"

"A little..." Mark admitted

"It's okay," said Harmony walking over and giving Mark a hug.  "It's okay to be scared.  And I'll try not to do anything else weird as well."

 

"By the way Harmony," said Ziona.  "Now you're a child again, you have to follow the rules for them."

 

"I know Ziona," smiled Harmony.

 

"Which means," Ziona held out her hand.  "Hand it over."

 

"...what?" Harmony squeaked,

Mark looked even more nervous when being hugged

"Uh... thanks?" He said

"What are you doing?" Dominic asked Ziona

Follow me Skye. (Spark said walking to the line up gate.)

"It's her knife I think. I believe she has one."

Harmony gave a nervous nod at Zamy.

 

"Y-yes... uh... d-do... I have to?" she asked in a shaky voice.  "Can't I k-keep it while I'm in H-haven?"

 

"That wouldn't be fair on the other children," said Ziona.

Skye nodded and followed.  "Just.. don't worry about me in the race Spark.  I'll be near the back of the pack."

"We can still train with them, Auntie Harmony!" Dominic said

"I... I guess...." said Harmony, he voice still shaky.  Slowly, she undid her holster and held it out.  Ziona reached out to take it, but Harmony was still gripping it hard.

"Come on Harmony. You wanted to be treated like the children. And as grim as it is, none of the weapons any of you carried would be effective if Eggman's robots showed up out of the blue."

"You can do it Harmony" Dylan said trying to reassure her

Dominic didn't want to say anything knowing how uncomfortable it was

"We could cut the wires inside with them" He then said to Zamy

"I just.... It's... I don't feel... right without it..." said Hamrony, but she let go.  The stepped back, shaking.  "And... it would have helped... It can cut through anything..."

"That would require getting inside them, which is difficult to say the least. And I think that's a bit of an exagerration Harmony. It's steel, very good steel by the looks of it, but it's not going to cleave through a tank."

"It's... magic..." said Harmony, though her voice sounded quieter than usual.

 

"I think we're all done in here," said Ziona.

"Are you sure about this?" Anna asked Melody as they rummaged through her room

 

"Sure!  We don't want to make her miserable, but if we make being a child a little... uncomfortable, she'll want to go back to normal," Melody replied.

"We'd find a way!" Dominic said sounding confident

"I don't think weapons are a good thing to have around here either" Dylan said

"If you say so. Right Ziona, you need any help here?"

"Provided everyone leaves the library, I should be fine, thanks Zamy," Ziona replied.

 

Harmony was standing there, in shock.

Dominic gave Harmony a hug

"Come on you two. Out we go" Dylan said to Dominic and Harmony

"Ok. Come on Miles, let's head back."

Harmony slowly hugged back, then clung on tightly to Dominic, giving a little sob.

 

"Okay Zamy," Miles replied.  HE waved at the three children.  "I'll be back in the afternoon."

Dominic was clearly surprised at being clung to by Harmony too much so to notice Miles

Mark gave a polite wave to Miles

Zamy teleported the pair back to the apartment.

"Don't tell me you're going to ask to carry around the cold steel now," she joked.

Harmony continued to hold on tight.  "I.. I can't... I don't..  I feel like I've got nothing on now..."

 

"Okay kids, back to the kitchen.  Hopefully breakfast will be ready!" said Ziona.

Miles laughed.  "Don't worry, I don't think i'd match my style!"

"You... still have us" Dominic said trying to be reassuring

"I... think they need a minute" Dylan said to Ziona
