"So do I get some sorta protection now?" asked the Legionare.

"Guess we'll only find out when tomorrow comes," said Miles.

"That was quick!" said Zoe.

"Okay, I'll just check in on them and make sure they're sleeping.  I'll see you two later," said Ziona as she headed off.

 

"I would have invited her," Harmony whispered to Dylan.  "But I guessed you'd rather she wasn't around..."

"I told you I was nearly done!" Dominic said

Harmony nodded.  "This way," see said, setting off"

"Heh, okay Dominic," said Zoe, holding up her picture.  "It's me an' you lookin' at stars!"

"I suppose you've got no preference where we go?" asked Harmony as she exited Haven.

"From being blown up by a mad Doctor!" said the Legionare.

"Well, I better get ready for bed," said Miles.

Dominic smiled

 

"It's really good!" he said before holding up his picture. It was of Zoe and had her name written in dragon kingdom writing at the bottom

"Not... really..." Dylan said looking around

Zoe smiled.  "That's great Dominic," she said happily, then leaned in to kiss him on the cheek

"Well.. town is nearby.  We'll find something," said Harmony.

"Ah, yes. Well I'm not entirely sure how we can get those bombs out. That biologist I threatened to put you in with might be able to do something."

"Ok. I'll be here for a bit if you need me."

Dominic giggled and let himself be kissed

"I guess..." Dylan said beginning to head to town

"Short of ripping out my cybernetics I'm not sure what else you can do," said tHe Legionare.

"Thanks Zamy.  But.. where are you going?" asked Miles.

At that moment the door opened at first slowly and quietly, then a lot faster.  "Shouldn't you two be in bed?" asked Ziona, looking at the two kids.

"That cafe seems to still be open," said Harmony pointing.  "And not too busy."

"If there's a way, that maniac will probably know. Or we can try to defuse the bombs."

"Nowhere. I meant I'll be here in the living room until I head to bed myself."

Dominic jumped

"Ziona?" He asked surprised

"Defusing would be better," said the Legionare.

"Oh, okay..." Miles gave a nervous giggle.

"Mom?" exclaimed Zoe surprised.  

"Harmony said you two were in bed.." said Ziona, putting on an 'I'm disappointed' tone.

"Okay.  What do you want to drink?" asked Harmony.

"We couldn't get to sleep. So we drew! See?" Dominic said showing his picture

"Lemonade I guess" Dylan said

"You'll still need to be opened up for it. It'll be risky."

"That is a very nice picture Dominic," said Ziona.  "But if you can't sleep you should just lie there until you do."

"But MOOOOMMMM!" whined Zoe.

 

"No buts, or I'll never let you sleep in the same room again."

"You grab a table," said Harmony as she went to the bar and ordered two lemonades.

"Maybe.. talk with your partners about this corruption case," said Miles.

"Aww..." Dominic said getting up and heading to his bed

Dylan found a table to sit at

"I just thought of something. If we call this in the mole might find out about you," said Zunnie.

"We'll do that in the morning. No use staying up all night with no leads to go on."

"If you say so Mom," said Zoe sadly as she flew to the ceiling.

 

"If you behave tonight, maybe you'll get something nice tomorrow," said Ziona.

Harmony came back with the drinks, and passed one to Dylan with a 'here you go.'

"Oh... yeah... he might..." said the Legionare, looking worried.

"I guess not," said Miles as he headed to the bathroom

"Auntie Harmony said we could go to the toy store tomorrow!" Dominic said excitedly

Zamy started finishing her day's report.

"And if we did chores in the morning, she'd give us money to spend!" added Zoe.

"I.. don't know... do you have good surgions or mechanics?"

Miles quickly got ready for bed, then headed to his room with a 'Goodnight Zamy.'
