  1. They Collided. They United. Now Their Worlds Must Align Once More…
Yep, you read that title correctly. This is a little something I've been working on since about the middle of 2015. I loved Worlds Collide when it was released; it got me reading the Mega Man comic books, and while it did end with the Sonic reboot, it still kept me curious of what could come next. Add to that the Wily Egg still hanging around (or rather, below) in Blaze's world, and the thought of a possible second crossover got me intrigued.
Then Worlds Unite happened and, while it had some cool moments, the overall pacing, character roster and last-minute additions from the SEGA/Capcom multiverse prevented it from being a worthwhile read for me. Since then, I started theorising on what a potential third crossover could be like. But with Sonic still busy fixing the shattered world, and Mega Man's continuing comic adventures in a state of uncertainty, I decided to start writing my own crossover ideas down.
Now, before I give the synopsis, I should note that this is a four-franchise crossover between Archie Sonic and Archie Mega Man (or at least close to it), with certain characters and elements of Mega Man X and Sonic Boom. There won't be any other SEGA or Capcom franchises in this one, mostly to prevent having too many characters again (and also because I'm not too familiar with the ones that appeared before). Maybe if this ever becomes an RP, but not right now...
With all that out of the way, here's what I have so far. (Currently just the backstory, settings and a list of characters):
If all goes well, then I should be able to update this if/when necessary. So, any thoughts so far? Any adjusments/improvements that can be made?
  2. A large amount of Sonic fans like this, so why not?
Anyways, Kingdom Hearts III is going to release some time from now. According to what I've heard, Sora and pals Donald and Goofy are once again traveling across iconic Disney-based worlds and protecting them from the Heartless and other dwellers of darkness, while also searching for a "Key to Return Hearts" that can help them save those who have been lost to darkness or slumber.
Meanwhile, the villainous Xehanort, who belives that an overabundance of light prevents of the universe from having an equal balance of light and darkness, strives to gather thirteen vessels of darkness to clash with seven lights and create a gateway which will lead him to the ultimate power of Kingdom Hearts, which he will use to create the cosmos in his image.
Meanwhile still, King Mickey and Riku search for veteran Keyblade wielders to stop Xehanort and his malicious ambitions.
Coming to the PS4 and Xbox One. I don't have either but I'm interested in buying. Actually, I got a PS4 about a year ago, so I'm equipped.
Oh, and Big Hero 6 is in the game. You can all die happy now.
    As of now, I have:
-Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMix (PS3)
-Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (3DS)
-Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prolouge (PS4)
I'll let the discussion start before I say anything else.
    By the way...
  3. Mario and Sonic are going to the 2016 Olympics. Why am I not surprised?

Well, folks...time to see how Sega and Nintendo are milking the series this time...

Wait a minute...this sorta looks fun. It's...kind of exciting me, even!

Anyways, here are the new features as far as I can tell:
-Jet, Diddy Kong, Nabbit, Zazz, and Rouge are now fully playable characters.
-Characters now have special moves even in non-Dream events.
-Rugby Sevens and Golf are now events to play in the Wii U and 3DS versions respectfully.

Will this game be fun to play? Or will it just be another title doomed to collect dust on the shelf? Feel free to discuss your opinions!
  4. On this topic, you can share your favorite crossovers involving the Sonic franchises. And now, my favorite crossovers with Sonic franchises are Super Smash Bros. franchises including Mega Man, Pac-Man, and Metal Gear franchises, Spyro the Dragon franchises, and Transformers franchises. So, what are your favorite crossovers with the Sonic franchises? ^_^

  5. Well, it appears Xander Payne WAS onto something in Mega Man #40, because this just popped up recently:

Yep, Sonic and Mega Man are gonna have another crossover, in Spring of next year! The article above has more details.

Judging by the teaser image, it looks like Sonic's world will still be suffering from the Shattered World Crisis (Unleashed Arc), and I'm guessing this event'll happen just after STH's 'Champions' arc, Sonic Universe's 'Spark of Life' arc, and the second half of the 'Mega Man 3' arc. (I highly doubt the Sonic Boom comic will get dragged into this.) With that said... I think it might be a little bit too early for the heroes to cross paths again (or technically, for the first time... dammit, time travel!). I mean, if it was after the Unleashed arc is resolved in Sonic's World, then maybe I could understand. But it's looking like it'll still be shattered during this event. But obviously, what I'm most curious about is HOW they're gonna meet up this time. I doubt it'll be another Genesis Wave, or another Skull Egg Zone. And it's likely that Xander's gonna be involved in some way... I guess all we can do is wait till New York Comic-Con this weekend to get more details. Anyway, what do you guys think? Awesome news, or too early?

  6. Okay, this isn't a fan work, more like a "what if" thread that's related to Sonic so I put it here.

Ive been going off on a tangent about thinking of ideas of combining Cthulhu Mythos to Sonic and seeing what I get, and I thought it would be interesting if everyone else joined in on the highly illogical and odd mixing fun. So who would be what. What places or areas would be what. What stories you think could fit in and why.

and yes, I did picture Tails as the yellow king if anyone was wondering.
