  1. I placed an order for the Gamecube version of Shadow the Hedgehog. Why? I had the PS2 version and out of morbid curiosity, I want to see how the Gamecube version holds up in comparison.

      Considering the difference between the GameCube and PS2 versions of Heroes, I'd wager that Shadow plays better on the GCN.

    I decided to get a new game again. This time Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Final Mix! Decently priced too! I didn't have to sell my arms this time! So I am now the proud owner of both 1.5 and 2.5 Final Mix! Now to wait for 3.

    Guess what i'm playing! Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I just started, so I am not really far in.

  6. Looking back on Final Fantasy VII, my favorite monster is Unknown 3. It looks so surreal! Like Majora's Mask if it was made of pasta. Then the attack... Come on! I think i'll call it Majora's Pasta. Creepy Mask? Creepy... Pasta? :D

      Yep over in the research room I know one spawns. It's weak to gravity and is the best way to farm Magic Sources late in the game, by morphing it.

      With I think it's the Apocalypse (Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong), Cloud's triple growth weapon, you can get some easy experience for your materia.

      I know where you mean and the weapon is called Heaven's cloud. Apocalypse is in the Ancient forest.

  7. I got a new guitar amplifier for my birthday! It's a tube amp. Now my guitar's sound ROCKS! Bright and clean, but deep and dirty. Just the way I like it! Sorry about that, I get hyped really easy.

  8. Now I remember why I don't play as Knuckles in classic Sonic. His jump sucks which leads me to an obnoxious amountof death.

      In fairness, Sonic 2 was never built with Knux in mind. But defeating the Death Egg Robot with the Rad Red... pure satisfaction.

    Just finished Zelda Minish Cap. My first 100% run to boot! The figurines were kind of a pain in the neck  (100 mysterious shells, what robbery of my hard earned rupees)... But anyway, I still think it's a great origin story of Vaati and the Four Sword. Great game in general, actually.

  11. I checked out Conker's Bad Fur Day on Amazon because I like the game. I saw the price and my jaw hit the floor. Being Canadian and all a nice round number of an easy $1000 dollars Canadian. Yikes.

      Ha! Yeah, good luck trying to get the original N64 version for a decent price. Your best chances of playing the game nowadays is either the Xbox remaster or the Rare Replay Collection on Xbox One (which has the original version).

      Thing is, I don't have any consoles from the Xbox family. So Ibhavevto settle for a ridiculous price for the original cart. Which honestly, kinda bites.

    I actually beat Advance Wars 2 finally. The finally battle with Sturm was really easy. I was kind of disappointed.

  14. I got all the super emeralds in Sonic 3 and Knuckles today (I haven't played the game in so long). I decided to give everything a big, friendly, destructive Hyper Sonic slap.

    I beat Link to the Past. I haven't played it in a long time, so I was a little rusty. I did get 100% though.

    I've always liked Marble Zone. Even though it's like "Who turned up the Mario in here?". I just love the all the Genesis soundtracks for Sonic.

    I got Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and Sonic's Classic Collection a few days ago. Today I grabbed Metal Gear Rising Revengence as well as Yakuza Dead Souls. I think I found a hot spot for my posts.

  21. Games that you recently finished

    I finished a game that I was long overdue to play. I finished my first playthrough of Kingdom Hearts! I took a really long time to do so  (Over 101 hours and 81% of the trophies but who's counting), but I did it! I was kind of underwhelmed with the final boss, Ansem was really REALLY easy. But being level 100 with the best equipment in the game will do that to a boss. Sort of like Sephiroth in FF VII. But in general, awesome game, I am definitely going to do another run. Who knows, I may get 2.5 in the future.

  22. So Star Wars fans. I was reading that episode 8 is scheduled to hit theaters December 15 2017. So much amazing in such a small amount of time.

  24. I haven't played Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge in years. Going back to try and 100% it is a pain in the neck. 

  25. So, I hear a certain franchise turns 20 today... I also got my digital copy of Red version last night at roughly 11.
