I'm trying to revive this thread By asking you all anime/manga fans a question: Have you ever seen/read anime/manga which might have seem to be just like any other but after watching/reading it there just seemed to be some strange charm to it so that you simply just had to watch/read it all? (yeah not really one of those "yes or no" questions xD) I myself (as some might've noticed before) watched this newer anime called Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace and although it first seemed to be just like any other mystery/horror anime I simply had to watch it all. The characters in my opinion were all very unique and some things were never explained during the show which made me wonder.. How on earth did the characters end up like that? For example there's the main character: He didn't seem to be anything more than Basic detective type (in this case the "underestimated kid" type) and while he didn't seem to have any different skills or any remarkable features he was still interesting. He wakes up in a classroom, his teacher is killed and he is alone with his dead body, holding a bloody saw in his hand and how does he react? HE DOESN'T. He doesn't seem scared, confused or anything.. He seems interested By all this. and THAT'S what made him different from the rest of the detectives I've seen so far. (although people do not acknowledge him as such) The main character also seemed to view people he didn't think were interesting or important to him as colorful figures without real details or faces. There were few other interesting characters as well.. But I don't want to spoil TOO much. and that's pretty much where I got interested. (of course the weird maybe even nonchalant atmosphere and the skulls in the opening song might've helped a bit.) and if you have in fact encountered such anime or manga what was it and why? (I'd like to hear some stories :3)        

It's too bad Tailsmo (Tails X Cosmo) can never be in the comics.. Different reality.. and now I just made myself sad.. Totally agreeing with you too. They'd be cute together. Though Tails X Mina.. or Tails X Nicole.. Well I ship Nicole more with Espio.. (for the awesome short story in.. Sonic.. 221-222 I think) and how could I have forgotten Charmy X Saffron!!! D:

Oh okay.. It's just that I've read all of the comics and so.. I remember stuff pretty well too but I just don't want to ruin the experience from you or from anyone else.. though.. also what happened to Maria was just.. sad.

I think there has been many many sad moments in the comics... especially Tommy's and Locke's sacrifices.. and then there was the whole "Fiona turning evil" thing and poor Tails had to suffer so much because of it.. Of course I understand why Fiona did what she did.. Still doesn't mean she did the right choice... and then Sally's death before the Genesis Wave.. (I was shocked to see that happen thank god it wasn't permanent thing..) Then Sally turning into a robot.. BUT after yet another Genesis wave happened I was just like "meh. they'll get her back and everything will be just fine yadda yadda yadda.." and of course Mighty meeting her sister after such a long time.. When I first saw Matilda I actually new there had to be some connection between the two.. but it was just sad she didn't go with them.

From what I heard.. no it does not have any comic characters.. Probably only like Sonic, Tails, Eggman, (Amy and Knuckles maybe) and Sonic's "Uncle" (not Chuck) and some new villain... at least that's what they planned.. also humans... yeah... Though I guess they could've changed their plans...? I mean they did change the release day too so.. Maybe they found a better solution for the movie.. hopefully it won't ruin Sonic's image like.. *cough* Sonic 06 *cough* *cough*

Now when you say that.. It does lack something but not sure what.. and I did not notice that I just thought it was Gold herself. Though she doesn't seem to think much of herself..      

Either Sonally (Sonic x Sally, Sonamy (Sonic x Amy), Shadouge (Shadow x Rouge), Silvgold (Silver x gold cause why not) or Silvaze (Silver x Blaze) and still haven't given up on Creamails (Cream x Tails)

My thoughts about the newest Sonic Universe: I liked it. It was nicely done there was progress in the story we got to see Gold. (if that is her real name we can never be sure.. you know.. unless they tell it in the next one) I'd also like to see the other members of the council.. They seemed rather interesting though for some reason they reminded me of the Dark Brotherhood... Must be the masks and I absolutely loved those little robots! But now I'm also wondering Gold's age.. I mean she did call Silver "young one" or something.. I really can't wait to see her background story! As for the Professor... Still as awesome as always and with the always beautiful accent.
