Skye Prower

"Oh, yeah.  Before you fell into the pool," said Stacey.

"Why not?" asked Stacey.  "Lots of people have different powers in this world. Maybe that's why yours doesn't work, cause it's a different world."

"Skye knows about a cat who can do it.  Not a lynx," said Stacey.  "And I only brought it up cause you did!" ----------- "Hmmmm, I think you both need some work," said Zoe. ----------- Ziona just laughed.

"True.  Quite a few now.  It's good to see," smiled Ziona. ----------- "Right, I'll show you a kick first.  So first you have to stand right, then..." Zoe did a high kick against a training dummy, knocking it over.

"Uh.... yes!" said Skye, glad that Amy seemed to be buying the story despite her confusion.

Zoe grinned and winked at Honey.  "You too MAX?" she asked. 

"That... too..." said Skye to Boulder's remark, though it sounds as if he didn't quite approve.  "I..er..." he hesitated a bit before replying to Amy, not wanting to lie but knowing it was for the best.  "I'm not a robot." Technically, that wasn't a lie.  "I had the ability to transfer my consciousness into Cyberspace, but my body was... lost during an Eggman attack while I was in Cyberspace."  Technically, none of that was lying either. 

"Not every lynx has them," said Skye.  "Besides," he hadded with a grin, "your's are on the blink right now!"

"Thank you Amy.  And yes, we're trying to gain access to an old, and hopefully abandoned, Eggman base to search for information on G missing mother, and to attempt to construct a new av.. body for myself," said Skye.

"It's not your fault Vipey," said Ziona as she sat down. ------------ "Do you wanna learn about sneaking or fighting first?" asked Zoe.

"It would be nice to last more than ten minutes," said Ziona. ----------- "So you're all ready to start?" asked Zoe.  

Ziona sighed.  "It was nice while it lasted!" -------------- "Yeah we are!" grinned Zoe. ------------- "Give me one good reason!" said Stacey

"It's nothing but a big fat lie," said Stacey.  "We're not special."

"No," said Stacey.

"I.. just don;t get why lynxes are so special," said Stacey.

"It seems stupid to me," said Stacey.

"But why?  That's not fair," said Stacey. ------------ "So much for him being their teacher!" said Skye. ------------- Zoe grinned.  "So were teaching MAX too then!"

"Exactly!  But that's how it was back where I grew up!" said Zoe.

"Why?" asked Skye. --------- "How would you like it if I said I couldn't train you because you were a squirrel," said Zoe.

"But it's not fair to say someone can;t be a ninja just cause of who they are," said Zoe a little firmly.  ------------ "Wait... does that mean he'd help them in their crazy ideas?" asked Skye.

"Why do they need to be lynxs?" asked Stacey. ------------ "Stacey would say they are! He loves robots and spaceships and stuff," said Zoe. ------------ "So.. does that mean we have another kid staying here?" asked Skye weakly.

Zoe watched MAX with a critical eye.  "Not bad, but we'll need to work on your footwork!" ------------- "Well, Skye seems to be getting his mobility back now, so it depends on haw well MAX is able to control the kids," said Ziona.

"Why not?" asked Zoe.  "A robot Ninja would be cool!" ---------- "Because it'll be fun to teach others our ways," said Stacey

"Awwww, why not?" asked Stacey. ---------- Zoe saw, and slowed down a little so Honey could keep up.
