As Hope was thinking the pen twitched slightly in her hands. ------------ "Hi Crowley!" called Miles running over, beaming. "I just wanted to say thank you so much!" Anna also came over. "Hello, it's good to see you back."

Melody sat back in her chair to watch. ------------ "You'll need to visit that cafe too," said Anna as Zamy arrived.

Melody smiled. "That's for you to work out! I will let you know the spell only lasts about five minutes, though once you get better with magic it will last longer" ------------- "And it really was a nice place," said Anna to Harmony as Zamy heading through. "Yeah, they do these lovely cakes with jam on them," added Miles.

"I'm pretty sure you cast it successfully," said Melody with a grin. ------------ Miles headed with the living room, and started chatting with Anna and Harmony

"So do you swear?" asked Ziona ----------- "Now don't worry about it!"

I... just looked in the emoticon tab...

Stacey looked back. "I guess we could..." ----------- Zoe smiled and let Sarah go

"Right, now listen carefully. I want all those traps in your base disabled, and I want you two to swear you won't go outside unless it's absolutely necessary," said Ziona. ----------- "It's okay. Just be calm. Please," said Zoe. --------- The pen flashed, but then nothing seemed to happen. Melody smiled. ---------- Miles smiled. "Sure thing. Thanks."

"If you keep whining like that I'm gonna make sure you never get to use your little base," said Ziona sternly. ----------- Zoe hugged Sarah. "Please don't cry." ---------- "So you might wanna have something to enchant nearby!" said melody. --------- "Now we just need to wait!" smiled Miles

So I've played Rise of Lyric for a while now. And while I'm not that far in.... Where the hell is all the hate for this game coming from??? The only criticism I've found so far is the game-play isn't typically 'Sonic'. But, if that's what you're after, that's what Shattered Crystal is for! And the ONLY glitch I've found is that occasionally Tails flight sound keeps playing after he's landed. I fell through a floor in Generations in about the same length of play.

"What do you think about it?" asked Melody ------------ Miles hummed happily to himself as he worked.

"But you do seem to like that one," said Melody. ------------- "Sure! I'll do that!" grinned Miles, gathering up the fruit.

"Exactly. And you might find fiddling with tech hard like that too!" said Melody. ------------ Miles waited nearby to see if he could help out.

"Yeah, it is. Plus you can have versions that are fire, ice, metal... anything really," said Melody. "Just be careful when you walk around!" ----------- "Yeah, he is acting wierd," said Harmony from the door. "Oh hush, this wasn't what I meant. Besides, he's happy," smiled Anna.

"Yep, you got it," said Melody as the stones formed an armour like casing around Hope. "Plus, given you're now basically walking in a stone golem, it can be pretty OFFENSIVE too!" ------------ "Sure, i'll get them," said Miles happily, almost bouncing around the kitchen. Anna watched from the door, smiling.

Once the spell was cast there was a loud rumble as suddenly rocks began forming around Hope. Melody kept watching, seemingly unsurprised. ---------- "Better make it a nice pie then," said Harmony. "I wanna help!" called Miles.

"No, not good enough," said Ziona. "I want you boys to promise me two things." ------------ "It's okay Sarah, it's okay," said Zoe. "It doesn't matter that you said it." ---------- "You might want to stand back a little when you cast it," grinned Melody. --------- "Pie?" asked Harmony.

"No idea at all?" asked Melody. --------- Miles gave a quick wave. "Bye! And thanks again!"

"Yep! And.. you never know, could be useful too!" grinned Melody. --------- Harmony listen in to the conversion, smiled, and headed over to Miles and Anna. "What are you gonna do now Miles?" asked Anna. "Stay here of course!" said Miles smiling. "I'm happy here. I don't wanna go anywhere."

"When you get more powerful you can do that to people too!" said Melody. ------------ Miles hugged Anna tightly back, to happy to really notice what was happening. Harmony saw the wave, and moved a little closer.

As some of you may have guessed, I've just got Sonic Boom, both Rise of Lyric and Shattered Crystal. I've only played the first couple of levels in Shattered Crystal so far (mainly because the power was off this morning) and so far it's been great fun. It feels like a combination of Sonic and Metroid-esk gameplay. Or, Tails Adventure if the levels were more Sonic-y. You can play it as an out and out Sonic game, or you can take it slower, explore, and find all the hidden collectibles in the level. Although there isn't a time limit on the levels, there is a time score (and a ring score too) to beat in order to gain tokens. And they got rid of the lives system! WHOOOO! Criticisms so far. Well, the levels are a little long for pure Sonic gameplay (the target time is about 5 minutes for the levels I've played.) But when you take exploration into account it balances better. And it's not as insane as some of Lost Worlds levels with a 20 minute time.... And... I have issues with the controls, but that only because I normally use the D-pad to move in 2D Sonic games, whereas here its used for changing characters, and when using an downward air Dash I tend to try and Stomp a la Generations, so press the wrong button. So... two minor crits and the second of which really isn't one. Let's hope it stays this much fun! Oh, yeah, and despite no mention of it, I got the pre-order bonus of the tron like costumes for Rise of Lyric! Yay!

"Yep. But you'll need to re-cast the spell to shrink them. But given practice you might work out a way to enchant them so the grown and shrink at will," said Melody. ---------- "Free," Miles repeated, laughing and crying at the same time. Anna went over and hugged the fox cub. ---------- "Oh boy... look, you two hanging out in sandopolis is pretty dangerous," said Ziona. ----------- Zope put an arm on Sarah's shoulder. "No. You meant what you just said,. And you're right . It wasn't/"

"I thought it would be a handy way of making a very portable toolkit," said Melody. --------- "I... I can't. He's been... watching me for so long. Threatening me. Even here, I couldn't feel free, but niow..."

"You might want to find an object to..." began Melody, but the spell finished and some of the items in Hope's desk shrunk to a much smaller size. "...focus on..." ------------- "I hope so! I.. I just..." Miles started laughing.
