"I need to get him to a hospital.  Skye, I'm counting on you to get the kids home," said Ziona as she picked up Seviper and teleported to the hospital.

'So... I just need to keep her occupied a bit longer...' thought Melody.   "You... you won't... hurt my friends?" she asked.   The large wolf was still eyeing them, as if working out which one to eat first.

"Er... yes... it is," said Skye, more confused. 

Zoe gave a little scream and jumped back as Skye scooped up Fenn. "Someone call a doctor," called Ziona

"It... it is... tempting," she confessed.   'I hope Hope didn't hear that,'   "But... there's the whole... seeing people as prey thing... I don't want to think like that...  It.. killed me before."

"I... I like... trying out new forms..." said Melody.

"S-seviper... I'm... s-scared..." said Zoe, backing away.   "Yeah, it will be," said Harmony.  "Huh, what's wrong Zoe?"   "Take your time to think about it," said Stacey.   ----------   "Er... is someone doesn't resit.... I can change their appearance and speices and stuff," said Melody.

That's me... er...well... I can sorta fly... m-mostly...er...   Shinomi?

"A... little bit of everything," said Melody.  "But... transformation is my main skill.  I'm not that powerful though."   (Heehee, Poor Silver!)

"Witch?  Uh... no.  Er... unless... you call anyone who knows magic a witch?" said Melody nervously.     (I now have an image of Topaz showing up carrying Silver the hedgehog by the legs and wielding him like a club)

"I guess... the spells I've used... dampen what pain there would be," said Melody.  'Oh *bleep* I shouldn't have mentioned spells'

"Transformations... shouldn't be painful," said Melody, failing to keep the fact she was genuinely interested out of her voice.   --------   "Sure, why not?" asked Harmony.   Stacey offered Sarah his had.  "So, are you going to give your Lynx a name?" he asked.   "Are... are you sure?" asked Zoe, sounding worried.

"Is it... painful?" asked Melody.

"I'm sure you'll like them," said Harmony.  "C'mon guys!  Let's go to the sweet shop!" she called.   Stacey smiled.  "You're welcome."

'Good luck Hope' thought Melody.  'I'll try to stall here'   "But... you can turn others into... creatures like you?"

'I think I'm gonna play along.  It might give us a chance to turn the tables' thought Melody.   "I... I do w-wanna live..." said Melody.  "But I... I don;t... really know what you are!"

"They're fantastic!" said Harmony grinning.   "I know.  You're doing well," said Stacey breaking off a hug.

"That did last as long as I thought!" said Melody, trying to roll of the chair away from the woman.

"Yeah... the fact you call other people prey..." Melody shivered.  "I've given up that kinda life"

"You want to... turn the Princess?" asked Melody a little shocked.  "How?  And... I get the feeling... if you were hunted down, you weren't exactly... friendly"  

"What... sort of arrangement?" asked Melody.   'You getting this Hope?'

"Then it's time you tried some!" said Harmony.   Stacey hugged Sarah.  "Don't worry, please.  You're still getting used to everything."   ----------   "Doesn't sound like you approve"

"You mean the Princess?" asked Melody.   ------------   "Yeah.  There's a sweet shop next door I think," said Harmony.   "You don't need to be sorry either," smiled Stacey
