"And who's this little guy?" asked Zoe, pointing to the Mongoose's cuddly toy.  The little Mongoose immediately brightened. "This is Fuzzy!  Do you want to hug him?"

Max started to come round. "It's time!" said Kimi softly. --------- Skye cave a little scream as Fluffy jumped.

"Is that him?" asked Zoe pointing.  "Aww, he's adorable!"  The Mongoose squeaked and hugged his cuddly toy tight.

"Hi there.  We're looking for Skye's little brother!" said Zoe as Skye give Fenn a little wave. "Me?" asked the Mongoose curiously. ---------- "We'll need to check."

"Well, uh.... WHOA!" Skye jumped as Fenn bolted in followed by Zoe. ---------- "DOes Fenn have a room?" asked Ziona.

"I should have kept quiet..." said Skye under his breath. ----------- "There's the games room," said Zoe. ----------- "So... here we are... two of us and two kids..."

"Really?" asked Stacey, wide eyed. "It's... just a guess....." said Skye rubbing the back of his head. ------ "Coming... Sister!" smiled Zoe flying after. ------ Ziona stroked Seviper's head.

That is why Boom is a 'spin off' rather than a reboot.  Let's see how fans take to a Sonic redesign.   The vocal ones hated it, so don't expect any more character development.

To have total creative control stay with Sega.  And because Sonic is  'brand' he must stay Static and not evolve in order to not offend any of his character base.   Same with Mario.
