"It's okay Mark!" smiled Stacey. ----------- "Red is nice!" said Zoe.

Stacey nodded. ----------- "You used to turn red!" said Zoe.

"Awww, that's a shame," said Stacey, giggling when he saw Fenn. ----------- "It is," said Zoe, then she paused.  "Why don;t you turn red when we hug anymore?" --------- "What's wrong Vipey?" asked Ziona.

"Ooh! Yes you are!" said Stacey.  "And does it Mark?" he asked. ---------- Ziona smiled happily, moving forward for a kiss. ----------- "It... okay," Said Zoe, hugging back.

"I h-hurt myself!" said Zoe. ----------- "Why is it?" asked Stacey to Mark, then looked to Fenn.  "Uh... I dunno..." ---------- Ziona kept stroking, moving in closer.

Zoe sniffled, sitting up and clutching at her leg. ----------- "What is it Mark?" asked Stacey.

So, given the presence of Classic Sonic, and the whole 'resistance' tagline, I'm gonna guess that Eggman has used time travel so that he conquered the Classic Era, and now the Modern Era is his Eggman Empire.  Hence the whole 'resistance' part, as Modern Sonic will be part of a resistance against the Eggman Empire. But, as the Cpt'n said, there's not much revealed yet, so we'll need to wait and see.

Zoe lay on the ground moaning,. --------------- "Of course my cute Vipey," smiled Ziona ans she leaned down to eye level, stroking Seviper's back. -------------- "Deafly?  You'll make them deaf?" asked Stacey.  

If they get it right, this could be really fun.  I... dunno what else to say.  They're going classic, it'll either work great or they'll muck it up and it will crash. Gotta say, I think Sega is doing their best to try and neutralize the fanbase complaints.  "Hmmm, half our fans say they want retro gameplay, half say they want Adventure 3.  Let's do both" Still surprised they haven't announced HD remakes of Adventure 1 and 2 for the anniversary. 

Zoe mistimed her jump and landed on the ground.

"They just didn't see you;re charms!" cooed Ziona. ------------- "Deadly dancing!" said Stacey.

"That'll be cool!" said Stacey. ----------- "Yes, it is!" nodded Ziona. ---------- Zoe pounced out for the shadows towards Dominic.

Zoe quickly flew outside, then hid, trying to pounce on Dominic.

Zoe grinned, took off and flew out.

"Let's go outside!" called Zoe.

"Okay!  C'mon!" said Zoe running out.

"Oooh, really?" asked Stacey. ----------- "Just telling him it's wrong to hit girls." said Ziona. "Huh what?" asked Zoe.

"Wow, I'm not sure I can do that!" said Stacey seeing the flip. ---------- Zoe smiled back to Seviper and gave a wave.  She turned back to Dominic grinning.  "Let's go play!" Ziona came over to Seviper and rested a hand just behind his neck.

Stacey tried to move in time with Fenn. ------------ Zoe gave Seviper another hug then ran over to Dominic.

Haven't read the latest comic yet, but I doubt it'll come down to 'choosing sides' as it will be Team Dark with GUN and everyone else against them.  But GUN has always been more greyscale then the others.  They're not bad, just more a 'end justify the means' group.

"Just copy me," said Stacey staring to dance. ------- Zoe gave Dominic a wink, then giggled at Seviper;s comment. "Thanks Daddy!" she beamed.
