"I guess we won't know until..." A light began flashing on the Syphon's control panel. "Uh, well, something is happening..." (ooc: Ok, so who want's to write up what the DEL's up to. Off to bed, catch you tomorrow.)

"Proton Steam emitter is calibrated correctly. Buffer's preped and ready. Stabilisers are green. All systems go. At least for now. Let's hope it can take the strain, and the the DEL don't decide to put off their plan with this planet wide light show."

"Right, switching on. Uh, better stand back in case something funny happens." Skye flipped the on switch as Melody peaked over Locke's shoulder. "C'mon Skye. Don't worry. You've built one of these to take out a planet. A weakened god-like being isn't gonna be that difficult."

With a gleeful giggle Melody happily leapt onto Locke's back, while Skye set up the machine and examined it carefully. "Okay. Everything looks good. I think we might be ready."

"Ok, I'll get this into the central area." Skye set off pulling the wheel mounted Syphon behind him, then stopped. "Melody, I am NOT gonna drag you around too." "Aww, you're no fun!" whined Melody as she jumped off the Syphon.

(ooc: I'm confused, but nevermind. We're on the Ark now so it doesn't matter.) "Just a quick once over to make sure nothing got damaged in transit, plug it into place here, and we should be ready to go." (ooc: and I'm off to a pool party tonight, but not sure of the exact times so prob won't be around.)

(ooc: I really don't mind, but after the job might make more sense. Well, back to work for me now, sigh)

(ooc: I don't mind. It's bound to happen at some point, the only question is when.)

(ooc: I know. I just thought we might be going via the Haven portal as you had Locke call Haven.)

(ooc: Just to check, we're using the Haven portal here? Heh, I think the fact the kids rigged it with that colour change curse might just backfire on them! :P )

"Well, I need to go to make sure this thing works." "And I'm coming. If you need to get away from the machine fast you'll need me to drag you." "If the two of you are going, then so are we," spoke up Zet. "Actually, I think Locke had a point about one of us staying behind just in case. Besides, someone needs to monitor the situation here," objected Ziona "What? You know the regulations. You can't just stay behind like like." "Given the circumstances I don't think we can follow the regs blindly Zet." "Fine, on your head be it Ziona." (ooc: And this may be the reason why these two cops get stuck onto parole duty.)

Skye began to disentangle himself from the working of the machine. "Yeah Dad, what were you saying?" Behind Locke, Melody sighed. "Oh, he's always like this when he get absorbed in his work. We could have teleported to the Ark with him and he wouldn't have noticed a thing."

"Hear that Skye? You've got twenty mi... Oh, what's the use?"

Which one? You know they replaced the theme tune a while back?

Nope. Never seen it. I'm just referring to the multiple trailers I've seen of cartoon franchises going live action, and they all look horrible.

If movie producers have any sense they'll create their own continuity. The last thing you want to do is alienate the people for whom this would be their first look at Sonic. Aside from that, as long as it isn't a live-action movie it could work.

"Skyyyyye!" Melody called out sweetly. "Skye? SKYE!" The last shout was punctuated by a kick. "OW! What was that for?" "Dad wanted to know if you were ready." "Oh. It's ready for transport now, but still needs a few tweaks before its at 100%"

Grinning from what Locke had said, Melody bent down to join her brother as he worked on the Syphon. "I can see why you like Dad so much." "Huh, what'd ya say?" Skye poked his head out and looked confused at his sister. "Oh never-mind. You just stick your head back inside that machine of yours." Melody turned away and began muttering. "See if I care about you ignoring me."

Yep, Knux decided to make an IC action, then it all went RP-y from there.

The first lasted 4 pages. The second turned into an RP fight before the 1st page ended.

(ooc: Oh yeah. And with only a week to go too. Huh.)

"Thank's Dylan! At least you won't need to worry about the speech thing when we're done." Melody sprinted off, grabbing the Prime Chaos Emerald on the way. "Here we are Dad, one Chaos Emerald to save the world with!"

Melody screeched to a halt beside Dylan. "Heya. We need to borrow one of your fake Emerald's to power the Syphon... or was it the teleporter? Anyway, can we borrow one to save the worlds?"

"I'm not running aimlessly, I'm getting stuff for Skye. One battery coming up." And she sped off.

Melody gave Locke a playful poke in the ribs while hurtling around the lab. "Oh, that's a lie and I know it. I saw how you looked at Skye. You couldn't care about someone like my brother if you didn't have a side softer than cotton down. Even if it is buried deep."
