(ooc: uh, If I ripped off that scene, I also ripped off any film/trailer/tv show/book/comic/song/etc that has a 'guy in a dungeon' scene.)

(ooc: How what, specifically? If you're meaning what from the trailer made me think of this: the Loki prison scene.)

(ooc: Don't say I didn't warn you. This is what happens when I watch the new trailer for Thor and then ponder the insanity of this game.) In another time and place It had become a ritual for the Queen of Moebius. Once a month, since the prisoner had been taken, Mina paid him a visit. But this one was to be slightly different. She entered the cell, mostly obscured in darkness, but she could hear the prisoner breathing. “The guards tell me you’re magic has started returning. Interesting…” Mina’s hand lit up with arcane energy, “since I still retain the power that was syphoned from you. Maybe I should repeat the process, and increase my power even more. Would you like that?” The figure chained to the wall gowned, and Mina moved closer, the light from her hand revealing the badly weakened form of Miles, her former husband. “Mina please,” begged Miles, “I..” He didn’t finish his sentence, but Mina understood. She took another step forward, drawing a knife. “Really? After all this time? After everything I’ve done to you?” She placed the tip of the blade against Miles’ chest. “I will admit,” Mina continued, “I have missed your adorable, scheming mind. As for you, you would do anything to be back with me. Wouldn’t you?” “Yes,” Miles replied, knowing that even if he lied, Mina still knew the truth. Mina smiled, then kissed Miles, before stepping back. She snapped her fingers, and Miles’ chains disappeared, sending him painfully to the floor. Mina regarded the crumpled figure on the floor, then began speaking. “Melody misses her little brother. If you can find the poor lost boy, and bring him back to his home, I’ll take you back.”

(ooc: If you really want me to do it I will, though don't let this interrupt the bar scene.)

(ooc: We didn't lose the dad. We lost the copy that he implanted in Skye. And it wouldn't be a right now thing. It's like in a tv serise when they show a scene that won't pay off till many episodes later.)

(ooc: I was think of having a scene between the kid's biological parents! )

(ooc: an idea did just pop into my head......... buuuuuuuuutttttttttttttttttttttttttt, it would mean adding an overarching plot, and another one focusing on my charries, so I'm very reluctant to do it.)

"We didn't drink that much did we? Better sleep it off then. Goodnight." Ziona gave Locke a wave then closed the door.

"Thank you," mumbled Zet as he walked into one of the rooms. "You know, I think that's the politest I've ever seen him. Oh, and if possible can you wake us before the kids. Officially we are meant to watch them all the time." Ziona sighed at the though, then entered the other bedroom.

"We're... Never mind, that sounds like a good idea Locke," replied Ziona.

"Hmph, I'll try." "You need to be less grumpy Zet. I think we'll call it a night here, and you'll be in a better mood in the morning. Or else."

"If they're nice to us, we'll be nice to them." "Zet, please..." pleaded Ziona, sounding exasperated.

"Oh, I'm sure he will. Once he get's his breath back. And you're right, this is a much better choice than prison."

(ooc: Sorry Locke. Read your post before you edited it.) "I'm not sure enjoying is the right word.." Zet began, but was cut off abruptly by Ziona elbowing him in the ribs. "What Zet means to say is, thank you very much. You've been more than accommodating for us, considering the reason when we're here. I doubt many parents would be as welcoming to officers watching their child's every move."

"What about you? Why did you sign up?" "Like you said, there wasn't many options. I just chose the only exciting one."

“And the cops were you’re only method of doing so,” Zet agreed, “There isn’t much to see in our Zone.” “Everything’s wrapped up with the force. You’re either a Zone Cop, or you’re supporting them. And you can’t travel outside the Zone unless you are a Darn Cop.” Ziona sounded bitter, possibly the wine making her less guarded. Zet didn’t reply. (ooc: heh. Poor moebius Lien Da)

"You signed up before the war started, so that wasn't the reason. Why did you?" Zet asked. Ziona just shrugged in reply. "Family tradition. Though normally it was the males in the family who signed up. I just happened to be an only child. Besides, I liked the opportunity to travel!"

Back in Haven, the two Zone Cop were relaxing with a glass of wine. Well, trying to relax. "Zet, will you please stop going on about those children. They're sleeping, we don't need to worry about them right now." "But they... You're right, I'm sorry Ziona. I just don't like being stuck here that's all, especially with the war going on." "You know, some people would consider a assignment in the Prime Zone a prestigious job." Something in Ziona's tone caught Zet's attention. "You never wanted to be a Zone Cop, did you?" Ziona paused. "No," she admitted.

"Ok, Goodnight Mom," Skye rubbed his cheek a little where the ink had been, "and thank's again." ---------------------------------- "I'll hold you to that. Night Daddy." Melody lay down on the bed, and almost immediately was sound asleep.

"I was asleep," Skye smiled, "I just sleep lightly, unless I've been awake for days." --------------------------------- "No! I'm not tired at all," Melody frantically lied. "Please don't stop the story."

Skye had actually woken up when Red entered, but had pretended to still be asleep. Partially because he was still a little suspicious about her. But after her actions, all of Skye’s doubts vanished. As she left, he mumbled a sleepy ‘Thanks Mom’.” ----------------------------------- “Cool. What kind of adventures?” asked Melody enraptured. She tried to hide a sleepy yawn, not wanting Locke to stop.

True, he is a kid. But look at what that kid has done in the past. By this stage, he should be less scared, not more. I do have a theory about Tails, that Sonic is subconsciously holding him back. When forced to do something alone, Tails rises to the challenge. When Sonic is there, he doesn't try at all because 'Sonic will sort it all out'. Also, NegaMetallix, overwhelming forces? Not compared to the starting cutscene of Unleashed. As for the colour powers, meh, I'm not sure. I wasn't overly keen on them in Colors, because they were just there to bypass the occasional obstacle. Rather than you choosing which power to use where, the game was like 'you must use power X here to continue'.

Skye wrapped up the remains of the cake and headed to his room. He paused briefly outside his sisters door, hearing Locke telling his story, and smiled to himself. Once in his room he hid the cake in a drawer, and sat down at his desk, writing out some complex arcane equations. However, moments later his head was on the desk as he drifted off to the land of nod, unaware his pen had been leaking and his cheek now lay in a pool of ink.
