"Funny h-how two d-different Zones have t-the same cereal."
-
"T-that mean i-it's not m-made by g-ghosts either t-then?" asked Skye as he pushed his now empty plate to the side and began on the pancakes.
-
"C-cool. If you w-want something to k-keep you going, I g-got the toast t-to share."
-
"F-fridges don't do c-cooked breakfast, Glen," Skye said with a smile as he sat down. "D-don't f-forget you said I-I c-could come Shadow."
-
"Y-you have no i-idea Shadow. Besides, a-after all that t-time spent c-cooking breakfast yesterday I n-never got any m-myself. I want to m-make up for t-that, without the w-work."
-
There was a knock at the penthouse door and a call of 'Room Service'. Skye grinned and hurried to the door, returning a few moments later brandishing his overladen tray.
-
Skye laughed. "Good p-point. But I-I think for o-once everyone h-had a quiet n-night."
-
"I g-guess so. W-where else w-would they be?" (ooc: Ok, night Dylan.)
-
"D-doing well t-thanks. Just w-waiting for b-breakfast, I missed i-it yesterday."
-
"I'd l-like that S-shadow, but o-only if it's n-not a problem f-for you." Skye looked up as Glen appeared. "Hey Glen, g-good morning. H-have a good n-night?"
-
"Hope? S-she was the g-girl who was with y-you on the b-beach? S-she seemed to k-know a lot a-about t-tech. I'd like to m-meet her sometime."
-
(ooc: That might not be for a while I'm afraid Locke. Remember how late a sleeper Melody is!) Skye leapt out of his chair in surprise, but managed not to yell. "Ah, S-shadow!" Skye kept his voice to a similar quiet level. "I'd j-just ordered b-breakfast, that's a-all."
-
After getting ready, Skye left his room. Not noticing Shadow on the sofa, he headed to the chair nearest the door and sat down to wait.

Eggman could save it, but doesn't mean it will be changed back.

New universe, new rules. So who knows. If it wasn't for all the behind the scenes stuff, I'd have sworn this 'new world' was just a temp thing and would be (mostly) gone by the end of the arc, as changing an entire back-story that has spent years building up, yeah, not a good move. But given all the stuff going on...

Robotnik? Maybe he didn't die this time round. Second guess might be Snively.

(ooc: ok then) Next morning, surprisingly early, given how late it had been when he'd fallen asleep, Skye awoke felling amazingly well rested. After a few minutes spent lounging in bed, he got up and pick up the phone. "Hello, R-room service? I'd like t-to order a f-full breakfast, w-with extra b-bacon and toast. A-and pancakes on the s-side. A-and a pot o-of fresh c-coffee....erm... p-please. Oh, o-one m-more thing, when delivering, they a-are o-only to hand i-it to Skye. T-that's v-very important. T-thank you." Skye put the phone down. "I'm n-not missing b-breakfast this time!"

(ooc: obviously I'm not! :P )

Ziona reached her hotel bedroom, sat down on the bed and sighed. "That's the first time I've felt bad about leading someone on. Nevermind. I just hope Zet pulls through this crisis. Zave will never forgive me if he doesn't." With that, Ziona headed off to sleep. (ooc: and that's me out of characters until we move to the next morning in the RP)

Cheers everyone. But I won't be resting for a bit. There's always more work needing done.

"Don't worry Glen, you'll find someone. You can't just give up after a couple of days. But it's late now, so I think we should all turn in for the night." Ziona began walking off to the hotel.
-
Ziona laughed. "I'm surprised you didn't guess. I've a rep for doing exactly what happened to you. Leading someone on just to enjoy the attention. Most of the time, the guy's know that but try their luck anyway. You didn't know, that's the difference."
-
One more field then harvest is done!

"It's nothing to do with you Glen, it's just who I am. You could have been as cool about it as you liked and it've made no difference. Though, because you were pushing so hard I didn't think you were really serious. I thought you were just playing the game. I'm sorry, but I do want to still be friends. I'm just... Most people already know my reputation."
-
"I understand, and I did appreciate it. It's just..." Ziona sighed. "Look Glen, for once I'm gonna be honest. I love the attention, but that's it. I don't want anything else. Maybe one day in the future I'll want a relationship. But right now, I want to remain as free as I can. Which isn't much considering my job."
