"You mean I don't say kind things to you enough?" kidded Skye. ---------------- Mina shook her head. "This doesn't make any sense." --------------- "Well didn't you Mom ever tell you and your duplicate how to wear cloths properly?"

"Don't worry Tikal. If she does snap, it'll be at me. No one could ever yell at you." ------------ "She... uh oh... I can't be to bad yet though, I don't have one of those headaches yet." ------------ "More like, if I go, I take everyone with me, isn't it?" ------------ Ziona looked disgusted. "How could you say such things on front of a child," she chastised him.

"True, but you normally get a few warning signs first." --------------- "Yeah, you're right," Melody replied and walked over to Crowley. "What's wrong?" --------------- "Why do I suddenly feel as if all of you are holding me over the edge of a cliff?" Mina hissed in response. -------------- Ziona rolled her eyes. "I didn't mean first thing Glen. That'd be rude."

"Yeah, but she seems fine enough right now." ------------ "I don't think Dad would make he scowl quite that badly." ------------ Mina looked at Red. "Whatever they are, it doesn't matter okay. It's gonna be fine." She looked back at Locke and whispered "What is it that everyone here seems to know except me?" ------------ "You can ask him when we wake up."

Darn it. The controls for the other special zone areas using the touchscreen seemed to work pretty Darn well. Stupid gimmicks...

"Heh heh, yeah. We don't want my sister to blow up again!" ------------ Melody glanced over at the rest, and saw Crowley's scowl. "What do'ya think he's frowning about," Melody asked Hope. ------------ "But how... How could she know something like that, and how could it be so terrible...." Mina was beinging to look fairly distressed herself. ------------ "Hmm, maybe I should ask his girlfriend how she manages to act so childlike when she's older," pondered Ziona.

Skye just smiled. ------------- "Betraying me...?" ------------- "You know better than me!" joked Ziona

"Thanks Tikal," replied Skye, giving her a quick peck on the tip of the nose. -------------- "I know she care's for me. But why would that stop her talking," asked Mina confused. -------------- "But normally we're only allowed breaks to be in No-Zone."

"Thank's Tikal. But it was worth it all to find you at the end." ----------------- "Red, I don't know what you're sorry for, but whatever it is, I forgive you, okay. And you know that's something I would never do for anyone else." ---------------- "But they don't even let us have... I dunno... supervised breaks in other Zones, or some kind of organised exploring corps. Nothing but enforcement. Plain, boring, soul-crushing enforcement."

"You might want to ask them quickly!"

"Yeah. Just make sure you charge by the hour.... Actually, hang-on, make that by the minute!"

"I think you enjoyed that too much," joked Melody, "but we have found another use for this dream machine if you manage to build one yourself. And from what I've heard, having an off switch on your monster probably makes you the smartest mad scientist in your family!"

"Oh, tsk tsk, Prof. Don't you know that when you remove a control element, a monster always goes after it's creator?"

"Its the point of view that kept me going when..." Skye began, then stopped. ------------- "Oh don't worry, I'm just getting warmed up," replied Melody, rushing forwards and aiming a blow at the monster's neck, hoping to sever its head. ------------- "You've nothing to be sorry for Red," comforted Mina ------------ "Yeah, but No-Zoner's aren't allowed to jump Zones, unless they are Cops on an assignment."

"That the secret, always planning ahead. Having something good to strive for," explained Skye --------------- Mina shot a glace over to Locke, surprised that he and Red seemed to be quite close, but let it slid. "We're here Red, we're here." -------------- "Yeah, if I knew how to jump Zones with the cops finding out,.."

"Your evil schemes end here Professor Kintobor!" retorted Melody as she jumped over the monster, drawing her blade and aiming a slash at it's back as she landed. ------------ Mina shook slightly, unsure what to do. This was worse than any attack she'd seen Red have before. "Please, it's gonna be alright. There's nothing to worry about. We're all here for you." ------------ "Oh, I wish I could. There's so much I'd love to see."

Mina knelt down next to Red and embraced her tightly. "Shh, it's alright. You're with all your friend, and you've a wide open sky above you. There's nothing hampering you, the the freedom of the sky." ------------- Ziona giggled. "I don't think even Daddy could manage that."

"When we get back," began Skye, "we'll get a map and look at all the places we want to go." ------------ "What can I do to help? Please let me help you," begged Mina, not realizing she was actually making things worse. ------------ Ziona looked up and smiled. "It was a castle I saw in a picture once, one that daddy brought back from work one day. It was such a beuitiful building. I always hoped I'd get a chance to see it for real." (ooc: If anyone is wondering why the dream hasn't unleashed more monsters on us or somesuch, I think it's because the dream realises it doesn't have to! Actually, I'll put down the fact that everyone seems to keep getting distracted to the effects of the dream world getting inside peoples heads)

(ooc: As far as I can tell, everyone is on the island and either on the beach or near the entrance , just said entrance is being blocked by Skye and Tikal having another of their lovey-dovey moments.) Skye took Tikal's hand and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "That would be wonderful. A whole world just waiting for the two of us to explore together." --------- For a moment Melody actually looked terrified at Hope's 'I am evil' routine, the knowledge of who she was on Moebius shooting to the forefront of her brain. But that moment quickly past, and Melody started grinning again. "You're only as unstoppable as your minions. Why don't you put them to the test," Melody challenged, adopting a combat pose and facing off against the monster next to Hope. -------------- "I... I don't understand." Mina seemed similarly distressed a her friends distress. -------------- Ziona was a bit to absorbed in her work to notice Glen approach.

"I know you don't Tikal. But you should have your own friends as well. And they'll be able to show you things about this Zone that I can't" ------------- "You know Hope," said Melody as she examined the monster Hope had created, "you've got the crazy scientist routine pretty much perfected there." ------------- "What is it Red," asked Mina, putting a comforting hand on Red's shoulder. "Whatever it is, please let me help."

"Once we get out of here I'm sure you'll meet load'sa people who'll be your friends," said Skye. -------------- "Hmm, talking of monsters.... I wonder... If the dream can summon monsters to stop us from leaving, maybe we could summon or own monster to fight back? Or use the dream to turn one of us into something powerful to fight back?" ------------- "About real life? Why, what can be so terrible you can't say? I thought you were on vacation!" ------------- Ziona sat on the sand, humming away happily to herself as she built her sandcastle.

"I'm sorry to hear that. But you should have a chance for more friends now, right?" ----------- "Heh heh. Yeah, maybe they just like the solitude so people can't comment on their looks." ------------ "Everything around? You mean you know something about this dream world?" ----------- "Hi Hope. Things are great. I'm just gonna play and make a san-castle while all the grown-up do the boring planing thing," said Ziona, as she knelt down on the sand.

"Ah, of course. Did... did you have many friends?" Skye asked with a little bit of trepidation. ------------- Melody was giggling at Hope's brief change of attire. "Looks like we need to be careful about stray thoughts then. Just be glad you weren't thinking about, I dunno, monkeys on a tropical island or some such." ------------- "What do you mean? Is this one of those 'you're life would be in danger if it told you' things? Cause I can handle myself if it is." (ooc: Hehehe. I can see a paradox coming over the horizon!) ------------ "I wouldn't be a kid if I didn't wanna be one, would I? But we still have some time, so I can build a quick one." Ziona hurried over to the beach near Hope and Melody, a bucket and spade shimmering into existence nearby.

"Ammusing?" Skye asked. ---------- "That's good. And hey, this is a dream, so sorting your hair is as easy as thinking, right?" --------- "What... what do you mean Red?" asked Mina, sounding worried for her friend. --------- "Yeah, that's true," agreed Ziona as they arrived on the island. "Oooh! I wanna build a sandcastle!"
