I hate to say it, but I might have preferred a full reboot over this half one. But, I'll wait and see how it plays out. I am enjoy the story, but still not sure about this new world until we get to know it better.

Mina and Melody were staring at the figure with utter confusion. "I... You... Wait, What?" (ooc: Bringing up the circumstances of her death/rebirth might not be the best course of action around Melody, but at least it defects the paradox for now)

(ooc: Nope. The fact the dark guy just caused the paradox everyone was trying to avoid...)

(ooc: I know, I just need to work out if there will be any ramifications from this yet...)

Skye learned slightly onto Tikal for support. The pain was at least bearable now. Ziona glanced over at the Echidna and fox. "I would help you walk like they're doing," she said to Glen, "but that might be difficult right now!" Melody swung round to look at where the voice had come from. "Yeah, figured. I don't suppose you'll just let us leave freely will you?" she asked sarcastically. --------------- Eggman looked at the open vent cover where Red has disappeared into. "Orbot, she's escaped into the vents. Start electrifying them, so her only route of escape is the cell block.

You mean call him Bokery Locke? Not sure that would work...

Skye nodded, though it wasn't quite clear whether Tikal's words had cheered him up, or just made him more determined. As Melody kept thinking about an exit for the dream, a door began forming, though some distance away. "Hmm, it can't be that easy," she muttered to herself Ziona gave a shock exclamation as Glen started bleeding. "Looks like its my turn to patch you up," she said, picking up the medical supplies Glen had used. "Be thankful I trained as a field medic. ---------------- "You might have damaged my robot, but lets see how well you do against an army of Egg Pawns!" shouted Eggman, backing off from Red and letting her be swarmed as the Egg Pawns poured into the room. Eggman opened a radio link to Orbot and whispered into it. "Orbot, flood the Dream Catcher control room with knockout gas. That ought to give our intruder a nasty surprise. Shame I need her alive, so I can work out exactly how she escaped the dream."

"What did you think Glen?" asked Ziona --------------- "Hmm, some sort of psychological condition is it," pondered Eggman, working from what Red had told him. (ooc: Still no other suggestions as to what the 'final boss' should be?

"Does that mean my tail's back too?" Skye asked Tikal, though judging by the pain he knew the answer would be negative. "If we want to get out, we better start dreaming up a way out then!" said Mina, ignoring the body of Hamlin as she cleaned her knife. "Let's see, we've just been attacked by a pack of werewolves and I got clawed by one. There might be a reason I'm not happy right now Glen!" --------------------------- "You're 'outbursts' won't save you this time," Eggamn declared as he attacked again.

"Good. I hate leaving a job half done." Mina brought her blade down swiftly. -------------- "Thanks Glen. I owe you..." Ziona paused. "I'm gonna regret saying that, ain't I?" -------------- "Then I'll just need to find out what makes you so special so it doesn't happen again."

I almost didn't recognise you there!

"Not a clean kill," muttered Mina. "I'm slipping. Want me to finish him off?"

Skye smiled back weakly as he tried to stand. Melody was standing nearby chanting 'Door. Door. Door.' to herself under her breath. "Where did you..." Ziona began to ask, pointing at the medical equipment, then she shrugged. "Ah, right. Dream." ------------- "Actually, how did you get out anyway?" Eggman demanded. "You should have been squished like a bug before managing to escape."

Skye managed to force the word 'thanks' out of his mouth. "Well, while everyone else is standing around," muttered Mina, as she readied her blade and charged at Hamlin. "Unless I have to, I don't want to," replied Ziona. ---------- "The dream machine is a new idea! And so far its trial run is working perfectly!" (ooc: So, ideas for the dream-exit doorway guard?

Skye looked up at Tikal, and managed to nod weakly. He dropped his arms, and the field died, but Skye was on hands and knees shaking. "Is everyone thinking about a way out," Melody called, as she knelt down next to Skye. "Don't worry, we'll soon have you back home and this will all be over." ---------- Ziona opened her mouth to say something, then paused. "I was about to say 'I'm not a kid and can look after myself', but that would be a little ironic given the circumstances," she replied to Glen, managing to smile. ---------- "Its only a matter of time before this world falls to the might of my Empire!" bellowed Eggman

"That's not a bad plan," Mina commented. "Shame he couldn't have waited for one more day." Melody stepped as close as she could to the field surrounding Skye, but couldn't see through it. She wrung her hands together, worried about his, then tried to push her worry aside. "Okay everyone, try and imagine a doorway out, and get ready to deal with whatever monster gets summoned to stop us!" she shouted. Ziona was whimpering slightly. The armour was broken where she'd been kicked and there was a small trickel of blood. "I... think so Glen," she sobbed. "I don't think its too deep." ------------- "Don't bother. I've broken my delusions before," replied Eggman as he aimed another blow at Red.

"Oh shut up you disembodied whinier, we're worrying about REAL LIFE problems here. Right, who's up for trying to dream up a door out, were-hogs around or no? Think it's worth the risk Skye? Skye? Skye, are you okay in there," asked Melody, fear rising in her voice. Skye was doubled over in pain, straining to keep his field active and unable to respond. --------------- "Bah. Most of those furballs live a lie as it is, thinking they live in a safe paradise. If they can't see the truth on front of their faces, a dream world will suit them fine!"

"I'm all for that," Ziona squeaked to Glen. "You won't find me arguing," Melody agreed with Glen. "Moreso what happened with Crowley But if the oversized Emerald is being used, we better find a way out double quick." ------------------------ "As long as they don't resist the dream's its better than reality. You could say I'm doing them a favor!"

"Eww. That sounds disgusting!" exclaimed Melody pulling a horrified face.

"That's good. I'm getting a little fed up of all these evil dreamscapes. No offence to everyone, but its not fun seeing all the dark things in your heads."
