"Wouldn't it be easier to have the pool somewhere else than make the books waterproof?" asked Melody as Skye picked up the book Anna brought from the library and began examining it. ----------- "I somehow doubt you're a bona fide lawyer," said Miles to Glen with a smirk. "But go on, what's your grand scheme for getting me out of jail."
-
"Because apparently none of you know it's a bad idea to put swimming pools in libraries nor do you believe in putting up signs?" suggested Melody.
-
"First, I wasn't using magic when I fell in. And second, I didn't expect a swimming pool to be in the LIBRARY!" said Melody.
-
"To make sure people don't fall into the swimming pool?" suggested Melody. ------------- "I wouldn't talk about getting me out of jail with a cop right next to you," joked Miles.
-
Miles shook his head, seeming torn by disgust at himself and amusement. "And that would be the kind of thing I'd have taken advantage of in someone else. But... yeah, handing people over to her... what was I thinking?"
-
"Is it... that bad?" asked Miles, sounding surprised, and a little horrified.
-
"I think he's allowed to still teleport in. Not just lava his way in," joked Melody. ------------ "I saw a few kids in there. Okay, fine, one of them was a robot, but still... wait... mental condition?" asked Miles.
-
"Maybe not literally, but you're still never gonna let me out again." Miles tried to stand and pace the room, but the moment he put weight on his legs they gave way, so all the happened was him sprawling slightly on the bench. "After everything I've done, escaping, embarrassing the jail staff, sabotage of official records, and that's just part of the breakout... Why should I expect anything different from you?"
-
The girls broke out giggling again. "What if I came up with a way to make the floor fire proof?" offered Skye. -------------- "What does it matter. You're gonna lock me up in a dingy cell and throw away the key," said Miles glumly.
-
"Well, uh, I guess we can't argue with the being in trouble part," said Skye awkwardly. "But at least TODAY's trouble should be over," continued Melody. ------------ "True. I might have been able to escape on my own eventually with no causalities, but...." Miles deflated again. "I thought time was against me."
-
"Just one guard," replied Miles. "And the warden. And neither were by my hands."
-
For the crossover the order isn't that confusing. Once you reach the start point in each series it goes: Mega Man - Sonic Universe - Sonic the Hedgehog : repeat until finished.
-
"I don't think he broke anything Dad," said Skye. "Hey, don't be ashamed, I liked it," said Anna to Spark. "I'm sure I've got something," Melody responded to Red, "and I keep my hair short from the whole running thing anyway." ----------- "The board should be thanking me for finding those gaps in their security," replied Miles with a smirk, a little of his bravado returning.
-
Anna and Melody giggled and Locke's response. --------- "What do you mean worse?" asked Miles, sounding worried.

Sonic Boom (Cartoon)
Skye Prower replied to BlurryDawgo's topic in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
So The Chosen One wanted me to put this pic up. Happy now Dad? :P -
"That's... really weird," replied Skye
-
"That's fire?" asked Skye, confused. "Hey Spark! Good to see you," replied Anna. "Hi there Spark. And I'm sure we'll be able to strap me up somehow so it'll be safe," said Melody. ----------- "I doubt they're just gonna ship me back to Moebius," said Miles with a grin, followed by a cough.
-
The three kid's looked at the splotch. "That's... probably not good..." muttered Skye, looking upwards.
-
Melody's face lit up. "That'd be great Mom. I love flying. And Dylan, thanks for your support." ---------------- "I was assuming the beatings were the worst that'd happen in Jail," replied Miles. "As long as the others stay busy."
-
"I'm sure it will Mom. I'll get back on my feet," replied Melody. "As long as you do too." ------------- "I'd have excepted everyone here would be lining up to turn me into a bloody pulp in this cell," said Miles as he took another sip.
-
"I'm t-trying to Mom," replied Melody. ----------------- "I'm surprised you care," said Miles, taking his advice.
-
"Now we're all here," Melody picked up the book Anna had brought, "who wants to read? A little family story time?" ---------- "I just felt so dehydrated I wasn't going to wait," said Miles. He gave another small cough. "I think the worst of it is over now."
-
(ooc: Sorry Spark. Everyone's just a little frantic dealing with the fallout I guess.) Melody managed to laugh, and both Skye and Anna smiled. "See, we're still a family, and we're gonna get through this," said Melody. -------------- "Thanks," replied Miles as he took the bottle from Zamy, and quickly drank the whole thing. "That's a lot better," he gasped, giving only a slight cough.
-
Skye nodded at Dylan's comment. "I'd hate it if I'd put both of you in here for weeks." "Mom I... I took some damage to my spine," explained Melody. "I've... lost the use of my legs, and it's gonna be a while before I can walk or run again." ----------- Miles gulped down the whole glass. It didn't stop the coughing, but it was severely reduced. "I know I look terrible, but aside from coughing and feeling dried out I'm fine. I think I... might do with a lot more water though," said Miles, coughing throughout.
-
"That's sooner than I will be," joked Melody. "Uh, Mel. I don't think Mom knows what's happened to you yet," pointed out Anna. "Oh, right..." said Melody. ------------ Miles seemed to be trying to say "thanks" but it was drowned out by his coughing. As he took the glass from Glen it was clear his body temprature was way high above normal.
