"I sure I'll make some more friends soon," said Skye ------------ "I'm not," said Anna, "You're the one who brought it up." ------------ "Yeah, they sting. Really badly. But..." Miles turned and finished unding the lock. The box sprung open. "I think it might have been worthwhile though," Miles said, smiling despite the pain as he looked at the contents. ------------ Ziona kissed Glen back.

"Well, yeah, but... not my age," pointed out Skye.

"Don't worry, I'm not quite THAT desperate!" laughed Skye. "Yet!" he added, making sure his tone was unclear whether he was joking or not.

"Uh, why would that scare you Dylan?" asked Skye, confused. "Wait, are you thinking when I say 'make' I'm meaning like what we're doing with Melody?"

"I think our family is big enough already. I'll... just need to make some friends. And quickly," said Skye

"Well aren't you a cutie," said Kimi to Skye as her Fennekin sniffed around his heels. She reached out to pet his head. Skye was hit by two conflicting thoughts. The first was to back off in fear. The second was one of absolute trust in her. The first felt more natural. But the second was stronger, so he let himself be petted, grinning. Kimi knelt down so she was at eye level with Skye. "I'm Kimi," she said pointing at herself. "And I'm gonna be taking care of you." Skye's grin broadly, believing completely in what she was saying. He could understand what she was saying, but was unable to speak himself. Had he forgotten to speak, or could he never speak? Except... Except for a few words. There were some he could say. He pointed to himself and said "Skye". Kimi jumped a little. "What did you...? Is that your name?" she asked. Skye nodded, still smiling, and repeated 'Skye' again. "That's... a really nice name Skye," Kimi said, but part of her was feeling unsettled. (ooc: I don't know if anyone else has plans, but I've had some ideas as to why there's this whole mind control aspect going on in this world. Basically, erm, permission to play one of the big bad's, though I'll need some help from those who know the franchise to make sure I'm not going off the track.)

"I'm just... feeling a little outnumbered now!" said Skye.

"Yeah your rig.... Oh my god... THREE sisters!" gulped Skye.

"Paid off twice by the looks of things," smiled Melody. Skye was still standing unmoving, "Maybe I should have tried to move on... but..." he breathed. -------------- "It could have gone a lot worse too. At least we made it out." Although his wounds weren't deep, they stung badly, and Miles was finding it difficult not to cry.

"I don't know if I should be happy you cared so much, or sad you never managed to move on," said Melody, causing Skye to freeze. ------------- "Just don't forget the box," said Miles.

(ooc: Skye and Dylan are in the basement) "Thank's Dylan. I'll get some of the reagents ready," said Skye, "Skye, why do you have that spell in your notes?" asked Melody. "Uh, well, you see, it, er... was part of one of the plans I had to bring you back." --------- Miles made an unhappy squeak when his attack failed to knock out Alicia. Despite his best attempts most of the whip blows connected. He pain forced him to his knees. "Stop this," he begged. "I don't want to do this anymore."

"Yikes. I'm getting rather scatterbrained," muttered Skye. "That's not very comforting," said Melody. "Don't worry. I haven't messed up a spell or ritual yet," said Skye, opening the book. "For starters, we'll need to modify the circle," said Skye, pointing at a diagram in his notebook.

Unable to use his tail to attack, Miles scooped up a rock and aimed a blow at the back of Alicia's head, though this broke the concealment spell.

"Okay. Now where did I leave my notebook..." ------------- When Alicia turned her head, Miles cast his concealment spell, hoping to get behind her.

"Yeah, that's not a problem at all. If anything, that's the easiest part to control," said Skye. "Thank's Skye," said Melody. "No thank's needed. I'm your brother."
