Funnily enough, I've never read that crossover. I just saw what it was, went 'skip!' and straight onto the Underground story. But good choices I'd say. And I would agree that period is probibly the high point for the comics.

"I am calm!" Stacey growled.
-
"They are? Great, where was the forest?" asked Skye pulling out a map of Mobius. He was so absorbed it took a moment to notice have shaken Myra was. "Myra, are you okay?" he asked concerned.
-
"Whoa...." Skye stepped back a little as the spell broke, shaking his head to clear it as the magic faded. "Did it work? Did you see them?" --------- "I am being Shh!" hissed back Stacey. ---------- Ziona laughed. "No wonder you;re brothers."
-
"Try the indoor garden place," said Stacey, starting to make more noise.
-
"I am being careful!" whispered back Stacey ------------ "That's certainly... unique.." said Ziona
-
Stacey grinned and started sneaking, though his movements were a bit heavy. ---------- "And what's that?" asked Ziona curiously.
-
"That's it, just keep focusing on them," said Skye. "If it works, you should start getting images of where they are."
-
Stacey looked round waiting for Fenn
-
"Yeah, let's go!" said Stacey. ---------- "Really? Wow! Most people get mad!" said Skye sounding surprised. "Okay, just step inside the circle and we can begin. You can sit if your prefer."
-
"I guess," said Stacey. "Wow! Careful Fenn!" "If you're sure," said Ziona. ----------- "I won't be, you will. I'll cast the spell, you need to focus on your family, and if it works, you'll know where they are. Or get some cryptic hints about where they are.." explained Skye
-
"Okay, I'll try," said Stacey. ------------ "We owe you," said Ziona. ----------- While Myra was lost in thought Skye was drawing symbols around a metal circle on the floor. "Now... if we're lucky we'll be able to find out where you family is. If we don't, well, that could be for several reasons. They might be somewhere that blocks or distorts magic, maybe they have some natural resistance that blocks the spell, or they could be in another Zone." 'Or they might be dead...' he thought sadly to himself, but he didn't want to voice that possibility.
-
"I can try," said Stacey
-
"Are.. you sure?" asked Stacey. ------------- Skye couldn't help but grin at Myra's enthusiasm. "That? It's kinda a magical multi-tool. It's got lots of small enchantment in it."

Nice work. Very Generations-y
-
"Not like this," said Stacey, pointing to himself.
-
"So keep stealthy," said Stacey. "I don't think I can." ------------ "Here's my lab," said Skye opening the door to a room filled with technological and mechanical trinkets.
-
"Well there could be many reasons why the spell might not pick them up," said Skye as he headed towards his lab. -------------- "How about 'Thank you' Vipey?" said Ziona giving him a playful nudge with her shoulder.
-
"Wow.... that's really..... thank you Zangoose," said Ziona sounding extremely grateful. "I should have know they'd be a little flour to it with you being Seviper's brother!" she winked.
-
"What was that?" asked Ziona ----------- "We can try! But don't get too excited. It might not work," Skye warned.
-
"Sure I'm sure. After all the other new arrivals, someone who isn't from a different Zone will be a relief to them," said Skye. "So... wanna see if we can use magic to find your family?"
-
"They might get a bit more grumpy, but I'll deal with them," said Skye. "Don't worry. The rest I'm sure will wanna be friends."
-
"For them it can sometimes be the same thing," said Ziona.
-
"You did what? Let the kids play with magic?" asked Ziona.
-
"A lot of grumpy Echidnas!" giggled Skye. "They guard the Master Emerald. My family's here too, as well as a couple more families."
