  1. So, we know that Classic Sonic learned how to boost from his future self. I guess we can qualify it as a bootstrap paradox now. So, how do you think Sonic originally got the idea of that move ? Who really composed Beethoven's fifth ?

      Yeah, maybe, because the Doctor didn't know the idea of the fake ghost was from his future self until he came up with the idea himself. That's probably the difference. Predestination is when the time traveler acts directly on the past in plain sight, and bootstrap is when he acts in the shadows (no pun intended), and no one else knows. Well, maybe except the Beethovens.

      Er, noooo... Why would bootstrap have anything to with working in the shadows? It's when there's a time loop that has no beginning. It doesn't matter if it's behind the scenes or in plain sight.

      So is predestination paradox. But now I think I see what you mean, bootstrap is when the time traveler is assuming the role of someone who doesn't actually exist. While the loop has no origin, do you think it is possible to break it ?
