      Since getting them is near impossible then it doesn't matter.

      Well, it goes away after a day, but if you have the pokemon in the PC, you can save it. It also spreads to the other pokemon in your party when you battle so you can effectively keep it forever. That being said, I have some pokemon saved with it if anyone was interested ;P
