Awwww, what a cutie. Love the color palette, flat colouring but so nice looking. Solid (also coloured) lineart.
She has a very strong cozy slice of life cartoon protagonist vibe. Who is she?

Nice try, but there's nothing circular in here. I think... do the bear ears count?

I don't think anything came to fruition... I remember seeing a russian Sonic Scanf channel waaaaaay back, but definately not an english one.

Errrr... not really. I sometimes still feel like the new guy tho.

I'm scared that Google Translate might make weird translations that completely miss what I want to say...

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 The Golden. Yes, I started from the fourth one. Yes, it's awesome, I love it so far, it's basically playing an shonen anime/manga turned into a deep RPG adventure.

(NOOOOOOOOOO wait, how in the world could 4Kids censor Yotsuba? Like... what's to censor in there?? Oh well, they'd find a way to make her an american girl or something...)
Granted, but it's a low-budget B-grade remake of Attack of the Clones, starring Jared Leto as Anakin. For some reason. Gosh, maybe I went too far.I wish for a delicious dinner.

We have a new teaser with gameplay!
Apparently new info will be revealed in june.
Also, new logo. New combat system. New... music tempo?

Granted, but the country is no bigger than your own room.
I wish for a Yotsuba! anime adaptation.

So we know the title (Sonic Prime), we know it's supposed to be released this year, 2022 (if it's not delayed or downright CANCELLED, since Netflix isn't going through its best moment), and now we also know how the main character will look (and sound, new voice actor apparently):
Aaaaaand we've known the synopsis from quite some time:
"Sonic will be thrusted into a high-speed adventure, through the strange and mysterious Shatterverse. It's up to Sonic to save the universe and along the way experience moments of self-discovery and redemption."
Sonic Prime is a thing that exists. Now we know it does. It's real. What do you think?

I LOVED THE MOVIE. Now this one, this is THE Sonic movie I wanted to see since I was a child. Watched it at the cinema 4 times, dammit. Goosebumps every single time I watched it. Love how the portrayed Knuckles in a serious, yet (well made) comedic way. The Fish out of the water trope works perfectly with this reinterpretation of the Rad Red, and makes him a flawed and fun character without making him stupid.
Tails is... a mix bag for me. It worked well overall, but wanted to see more of his past. They mention it, but the script doesn't build a character arc for Tails. He's still adorable though.
Is it a flawless movie? No. There are some scenes I feel add absolutely nothing, and could easily be cut from the film. You probably know what scenes I'm talking about. Not the wedding sub-plot, I kinda liked that part tho.

That poster, and the trailer... They are so beautiful. Tails looks adorable, the Tornado flying towards a tornado, Knuckles looking (and sounding) absolutely badass, a true threatening antagonist, Jim Carrey looking more like Robotnik...
Now Sonic has truly hit the big screen. Yeah, this is happenin'!

Banned for not wanting to walk... I guess.

Banned because by saying this game is alive you're excluding zombies from it.

Aside from the shoes that look as cool as weird, the rest of the art is GORGEOUS. I'm fascinated by the alternate Eggmen, mechanic infinite-tailed Tails and savage Amy? I dunno, the multiverse thing seems to be wilder than I expected!
I guess most images (the ones with taking place in that Eggmanland/Chemical Plant-like place) might be part of the same episode.
(BTW, as @BonnitoPlay once proposed... does anyone know how to change the topic's title? We know the show is called Sonic Prime, no need to call it Netflix's Sonic anymore)

So, certain franchise turns 30 today... And I wanted to make a little homage to it:
A very simple collage where the silhouette of Sonic is formed by several pieces of media, while the background features my own artwork. A symbol of what this series has given us, and how we respond by creating more.

I have to wonder, are those shorts tied directly into Sonic Colours? Because Metal Sonic did not show up in that game at all (in the Wii version at least, which is the one they're remastering)
-
Yet ANOTHER Sonic classic collection...
They also mentioned "new features". What do you think those could be?
-
I feel like they kinda wasted the appearance of Joe Kelly (which is also a comic-book writer, the one who wrote I Kill Giants no less), just to say things we already knew, aside from calling this multiverse as "Shatterverse". A very comic-booky name actually, but I highly doubt this show will have anything to do with any comic series.
-
As cool as that CG teaser looked... it showed nothing. At all. Just that the game comes out in 2022 and that Sonic has a weird new aura. Also, what the heck is this symbol?
Zap? Zao? Up?

Long time since someone posted here, huh... time to REACTIVATE this thread with a few of my mechanical creations: the Mechatronia Girls, A group of four robots inspired by subjects I'm studying now. I drew them for a poster (that was supposed to take part in a contest in my high school) but I had created these characters looooong ago as antagonists for a superhero I may show here someday... and now, let's talk about these mecha-gals:
LADY VIRUTA: Master of Manufacturing. Able to create anything if given the right materials, she's fixed on building the finest components for the best machines. Calm, patient and an absolute workaholic, Viruta is a one-robogirl mass-producer... and potentially, a lethal fighter in close-quarters-combat. I mean, when you have saws, spinning claws and drills, you're as dangerous as useful...
MICRA-CHAN: Perfectionist of Measurement. A curious machine, still naive to many things, Micra-chan is obsessed with knowing the dimensions, weight, volume and density of every single object known by mankind. Her curiosity can only be matched by her perfectionism and her desire for every object to have exact magnitudes.
NEUMA: Weaponizer of Air. Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to jum tall buildings in a single bound, the infant of science is now the woman of preassure...
SupermanNeuma! Air surrounds us, and Neuma is well aware of it. She's a walking air compressor, pneumatic system and energetic athlete, all in one. As long as there's air she can process, Neuma will be able to move and perform impossible physical feats... for a human, at least, and for most machines as well.VOLTIAMPERIA: Queen of Lightning. Yes, you read that right; Voltiamperia considers herself a true queen. Sometimes even a mechanical goddess. Able to control, absorb and project electricity at will, Voltiamperia thinks humanity depends too much on electric devices and that could give her total control over our society. So, if she has that power, is it wrong to consider herself a goddess in our world?

That photo made my day. I'm guessing this might be the final battle, where the three heroes team up? That would be lit.
If Knuckles ends up looking like this in the film, we'll have a nearly perfect recreation of Team Sonic in the big screen (aesthetically, at least). ANd that makes me SO HAPPY. Long gone are the days of the grotesquely redesigned monster-hedgehog that was supposed to star the first movie...Also... am I the only one who saw...
...the MEAN BEAN Coffee Shop? Where they most likely will have a MEAN BEAN MACHINE??
And G.U.N. is finally real in this universe. Makes sense considering the USA military appeared in the previous film. Now, I think G.U.N. should have been since the beggining, but it's fine. Maybe this organization is found due to the problems caused by Sonic and Robotnik?
Sonic Prime (Netflix Series)
in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
Posted
So, after three seasons, Sonic Prime has ended.
And to me it was... okay?
The action scenes were pretty solid, character models were very expressive, I loved that. But the plot... mehhhhh... There were some interesting ideas here and there, but the resolution of the last conflict was way too fast, and the last season could be described as a veeeeery long fight scene.
To me, the highlights of the show have been Nine and the Amy variants (yep, I'm still an Amy fan, some things never change), as well as Shadow, who started being this dry Vegeta knock-off but had a character arc of understanding Sonic and teaming up with him by the end.
Another TV show with cool animation, nice ideas, but not that great execution of many of them. New characters added to the Sonic Multiverse (albeit being alternate versions of preexisting heroes) and, hopefully, an entry point for new fans.
