I redesigned Team Sonic some time ago, trying to give them a more "realistic" approach, influenced by move superhero adaptations. Here it is:  They're not as cool as the previous one you posted, but it's something. I guess Zack Snyder would be proud... 

Okay, so she's related to Kyoko... I see... very interesting. Gotta see more of those witches! Alright, here it comes yet another fan-character design for another user. I hope he likes it wherever he's slithering... Yes, @Seviper the Fang Snake , here is world's favourite rooster, Techno! ...more or less...

After seeing the new red Blizzardbot arrive, Amy looked at her hammer." Huh. I guess pulling the hammer out wasn't a bad idea after all." Then she talked to Myra and Techno. "Okay, first things first, we have to make sure those children get out safely, is everyone out?" 

"-ahem- I'm a Freedom Fighter. I saved lives and I'm not dead." Amy said to Techno. "And, so, YOU WILL HELP US!!" she added, pulling her hammer off with anger.

"Skye...how do you...?" the hedgehog asked. "N-nevermind... let's move then! If what Skye says is true, then we have no time to lose!" Amy said, looking at both Myra and Peggy, clearly worried.

"You should do what you think it's better. If somebody is going to be hurt anyway... Protect what you care the most." Amy seriously stated. "B-but I think there is always a chance to protect everyone, of course! It can be quite difficult, sureeee~, but it might worth the effort, don't you think, Skye?" she inmediately added, in an optimistic and almost naïve way, like she was trying to refuse the fact that not everyone could be saved. "Oh, Peggy, we're...discusing some deep stuff" the hedgehog answered.  

I would be avaible almost any day, unless something turns my life upside down! Also, do you already made the rules, Skye? Will we help with the background story, or the game system?

(You just predicted my move, Skye!) Amy looked at the rest of the crew that stayed in the car. "Okay... So, is that the real G?" she asked, pointing at the shunk, surprised and confused. After G finished telling the story to the children, she suddenly said to the team "Wait...a young fox? Able to disable robots with ease? You know Tails then! He's a close friend of mine. Do you know where he flew to?" Amy asked cheerfully.

"Awwww, that would be so cute~!" Amy added, looking at the "couple".

If this keeps going, I'm in. Absolutely love the idea, and I think I haven't seen something like this before in the Sonic series. And, as you've said, it makes so much sense: there are alternate post-apocaliptic futures in the Sonic universe, from the comics to the games, there are different races and cultures that might clash in some point of time, like the echidnas (as the Dark Legion, the Nocturnus or the Pachacamac Clan), the Eggman Empire (if it finally formed) some kind of future Freedom Fighters from different parts of the world... What I'm trying to say is that there are Endless Possibilities and FUN IS INFINITE... (puns totally intended)

Oh my... permission HONORABLY granted, of course, Skye!  I have more of these fan-character redesigns somewhere... buuuut I guess it's enough for today. I'm not so overpowered as Shinomi! And yeah, I draw manga (basically because I want to be a profesional artist), so the influence might be there. In the case of Sonic style, I tend to stick to the "cannonical" proportions and design, but I have several artists that I look up to: Evan Stanley, Tracy Yardley, Tyson Hesse, Diana Skelly, Jennifer Hernandez, Jamal Peppers... and most likely the rest of the guys that have drawn Sonic comics recently!  Thank you so much for your kind words, guys! It means a lot, considering how creative you are!

We share the artistic frustration of "I have good ideas when I'm trying to sleep".  So in order to inspire you a little before you go to bed, here's another pic of mine (that I recently discovered, thanks to Skye's character sheet, that it's not valid... but here it is anyway!) Yes, it's supposed to be post-reboot Skye Prower. @Skye Prower's version, descendant of Tails and Nicole, to be more speciffic. That's why his/her gender is not clear, and the design is a mix between the holo-lynx and the two-tailed fox. And yes, I drew this after I jumped into the "Christmas Roleplay" but before I read your character sheet, So enjoy an imperfect alternate version of your avatar! 

I'm not sure about the anime... I do watch anime, but this one in particular... no clue. I really like the design, though, specially the arm--thingy (does it have eyes?). Chssssssst, Skye, don't cry...come here, gimme a hug, man. I know the feels. 

(LOL, I knew it! She was playing with us, she didn't draw the eyelashes to get us confused! That was her master plan.  And yeah, as @Skye Prower said, in the manga world, if you wear male clothes, you might be a girl) I wish I'd work for Archie! And Skye, don't be jelly, there's more...   

I have to agree with Skye. I think it's a male... but maybe Shinomi's toying with us! THE GENDER IS A LIE! So, let's play another game, shall we? This time, let's guess who designed this fan-character that I just drew for fun (and to cheer someone up)! ...yeah, it's the easy level. Besides, the fun part isn't the guessing... but YOUR REACTION! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
