my appologise if i get fustrated with you guys on this subject (dylan and skye) but it really is ticking me off. all's i ask is archie says "hey (insert name of dude who made this character) are you ok with us using him. that's all! it doesn't have to be a panders character, it can be someone from some other writer. is it too much for them to ask permission to use the character, cause then if they do, no lawsuits will happen or should happen. it just baffles me and i've still yet to get an answer on why this can't be.

dylan, hear me out here. we're getting conquoring storm back, and flynn said his book lost hedgehog tales is going to tell or make it obiouse who may come back and who won't.

yeah, i only brought that up because there was some speculation that becasue flynn mentioned his characters he could be in trouble, and panders was talking about ian getting himself into a mess. as for the reprint thing i suppose panders has a right for that, though i still worry all of this could lead to sega pulling the rights away.

if panders is suing ian because of the mention of his characters he's going to lose. if he had a problem with the whole lost hedgehog tales he should have told ian.

Do you think we can see ships in the series again?

still, i can't help but want to see some relation ships in the comics. then again...looks at sonic couples forms and i wonder why...tear falls from my eye sadly -
so ships in the series can no longer happen due to archie fearing sega will take the license away from them (the comic book is more closer to the series.) if this situation ever blows over or ends, do you think we'll see couples in the series again?

Secondly, don't get butthurt over beimg in the trash section. Its not a 'we hate this person' thing. Its just a section to show the sort if things not to write/do. If you look through it you'll see I've had my posts in there quite a lot (and have been the face of it before). Just take it as a learning point not to post like that :)

that is true dylan, and sorry if this topic seemed like a dumb one to bring up, but i remembered that the restrictions that sega/archie put on the comics, and non ships and not having families was one of them. sega why? just why? -

as much as i hate to admit it you're right dylan. one more lawsuit will probably cause archie to go out of buisness...sighs angrily

now I know what you guys are thinking, team random come on now, panders won, you should know this by now. Well, panders said he doesn't have Fiona fox's rights. I know other writers characters have been taken out, but would it kill Archie to maybe ask the writers permission to use there characters or reintroduce Fiona?

same, fiona is a bit of a must have for me not because of the tails x fiona ship but because she was very well developed. also once you hear her backstory you can't help but feel bad for her.

true, and i can't help but wonder what's in the future for the comics, at least as long as panders stops suing everyone...(yeah yeah, there i go again mentioning his name)

probably going to get me in trouble on here, but should sonic the comic or universe tackle subjects like suicide and depression by having some of their characters deal with problems or be in situations that would make them deal with those problems. I know it's sonic, but there are teens and older people read the comics, and the comics can get a way with a tab bit more.

i suppose you're right. sure it would be nice to have touching moments like with nicole and espio or sad moments, but sega won't even let there mascot cry for god sakes.
