  1. Dr. Finitevus was actually created by Carl Bollers (if you doesn't count his earlier nameless appearance as random echidna scientist), so technically he doesn't fall under Penders' lawsuit. Regardless Archie still not allowed to use him anymore because he's not a Sega or Flynn's creation. Besides, in a new continuity Knuckles is pretty much the same as his video game counterpart - the only remaining echidna in his kind (exept for Tikal who's a spirit). Insertion of another echidna in a story is highly unlikely at this point.

Eggman already knows about Lost Hex, he just left it for later. Honestly, I don't really find the idea of Lost World adaptation good, because Deadly Six is so bland and one dimensional characters that make them interesting would be very hard. They appeared in World Unite (sorry, I had to mention it) and they still was completely bland and one dimensional. I think Deadly Six don't fit in sonic universe in general.  I hope that next after Unleashed adaptation we'll see what happened with Silver, Gold and prof. Von Schlemmer and maybe meet Second Devourer again. Also we now have a mention about misterious "Chaos Titans"... I know it's unlikely due to fact that it's definetely Super Sonic who fights the main evil, but Perfect Chaos versus Perfect Dark Gaia would be the coolest climactic battle ever.
  3. Sonic Universe (Comic Series)

The thing is, it's very difficult to introduce Naugus into a new continuity. It's based on the game's canon now, but there never was characters like Naugus. In old canon he was an amalgamation between three mobians from order of Ixis and that's why he was so weird looking and had his magic powers. But this idea is no longer relevant, because order of Ixis never exist in games (or SatAM) and because this whole thing belongs to Penders. So Flynn gave Naugus a completely different origin but didn't change his appearance (mostly) and personality. Yes, Naugus have this silly name now ("Walter" is alliterative to his sister's name "Wendy") and he's a descendant of an ancient race of trolls (Relic the pica mentioned them in SU #70) that actually was one of the four Great civilizations, like Nocturnus clan from Sonic Chronicles. Naugus looks like some kind of mutant or fantasy creature anyway, so that works for me.  About Wendy - in game she was just a stereotypical witch and didn't relate with anyone. I don't know why she was developed as a troll and became twin sister to Naugus in the comic, but I assume it's justified since Wendy was a flat character and didn't have any characteristic traits (aside from her "evil witch" thing) so Flynn could do anything with her without any trouble. It's a weird decision, but eh, I'll get used to that.
  4. Sonic Universe (Comic Series)

Those bear, wolf and rabbit are a Witchcarters, Wendy's minions from Tails Skypatrol game for Game Gear. If you look at the screenshots, you'll see they pretty much the same but more "sonic-ish" in terms of design. I personally didn't even see the similarity between Carrotia and Rouge (she obviously similar to Cream since they both rabbits), but I think that's just a coincidence. She had that somewhat flirty and sassy look in the game already, so it's not surprising they share the same trait.  Overall, I waited for the first part of this arc for a long time and was happy then it finally came out. I love Egg Bosses - the "Scrambled" arc from old continuity was one of my favourite - and I definitely want to see them in action. Naugus twins and Withcarters are also an interesting stuff, so I'm really excited to see what would happen next.
