Haven't you seen the meme about it? I mean really some of the pokemons weight at least 80 kg or so maybe even over 100 kg and Ash is like: "Hiya there little fella! Lemme pick you up!" and I just look at the show like: "But you don't have any muscles for it!!!" O_O

"Oh. Well they have this ridiculously big Emerald with dark purple or dark blue color which looks like a Chaos Emerald but it's not. They say it sacred Amethyst or something.. I never remember the correct name for it.. heheh.." Vivian said a little embarrassed.

Also Ash seems to have super powers considering his lifting really heavy pokemons like it's nothing. o_o someone's been training...
