"They might both just be peasants for all we know." ----' "Oh sure, that'll endear then to my voice."
-
"Oh yeah, good point." ---- "I like my voice, but it doesn't mean others will."
-
"Heh, I don't know. I wonder what you do here actually." ---- "I do like the sound of my own voice," laughed Zamy.
-
"There's a first time for everything." ---- "Yes. If you didn't I'd have to lecture you for two hours."
-
Hope slowed down so she was walking next to Melody. ---- "Good to know you agree."
-
Hope nodded and headed out, back towards the throne room. ---- "All that because I had to prove a point," laughed Zamy.
-
"Great. Shall we go see the other me again?" ----' "I know. But my point is a "command structure" doesn't necessarily mean rigid and strict like I have in my job."
-
"If you're sure." ---- Zamy burst out laughing.
-
"I understand. I'm not sure how I can help though." ---- "But you already have, you do what I say without complaint."
-
"I can understand. But remember, anyone who wanted to attack you either no longer exists, or in Crowley's case, has no reason to attack given the timeline has changed." ---- "I'll make a trooper out of you yet."
-
Hope hugged her friend. "Look, if she wanted us dead we wouldn't even know what hit us. Stop worrying. Besides, outside of Shadow or Sonic using Chaos Control, there's no one on Mobius who could sneak up on you." ---- "Yeah. So for the time being this is all a no fly zone."
-
"Then they trained so training like yours can be beaten. It's not like you be ame a master or anything, you were still young." ---- "I'm sure we can sort something out."
-
"Don't be so down about it. Someone that trained was bound to go unnoticed." ----- "Yeah, I can't see it going well."
-
"Well, you were right Melody," said Hope. ---- "That's fair enough. No point getting hurt."
-
"I shall see you two around then." ---- "Would you like to try?"
-
"It was something that just interested me. Practicing something purely aesthetic or watered down so it can be a sport didn't interest me, so I spent a while researching practical fighting techniques from around the world. I got good at remaining unseen, and so being a guard just came from that. I can protect without getting in the way." ---- "Thank you."
-
"Good to know." ---- Zamy climbed onto the diving board again, took a deep breath, then jumped. She managed to pull off a somersault before hitting the water.
-
"Good thing you're did then." ----- "I know, but I'm sure I can."
-
"I see. I'm a bodyguard, not an assassin, but I can understand not wanting to be pushed into something you don't like." ---- "I can try one. I know what I'm doing... mostly."
-
"Well at least you maintai ed a conscience. Despots don't last long around here. Especially if their bodyguard gets paid by the angry villagers to leave the gate open. Thankfully her highness is s kind ruler." ----- "I would have if I didn't have visions of injuring myself," laughed Zamy.
-
Rouge raised her eyebrow. "How so? Run afoul of your people?" ----- Zamy did a simple dive into the pool.
-
"What about you?" she asked Melody. ---- Zamy got out to quickly try the diving board.
-
"I'm going to assume you aren't royalty in your world?" she asked Hope. "Right. I'm not royalty, I work for the military, I do research and development for them. It pays well and I enjoy it." --- "Exactly."
-
"I'm told you're our two visitors from another world." ---- "Good thing you have plenty of time to learn
-
"How cute. If I wanted you gone we wouldn't be talking right now," smirked Rouge. ---- "Well then, good thing I said."
