"I admire your spirit." ---- Zamy stepped aside to let Ziona in. "See for yourself."
-
"I didn't say we couldn't handle it." ---- "I'm sure you are now. I'll call Ziona." Zamy turned on her radio. "Hi Ziona, it's me. I just caught Zoe and Dominic having opened a cabinet and smashed a bottle. You might want to get over here. I just hope the guardians didn't have some kind of attachmemt to them."
-
"It's not been too difficult yet. The worst must be yet to come," said HRH Hope. ---- "They were locked up precisely because they were fragile. It's not hard to work out."
-
The group headed further into the cave. ---- "Do you think I was born yesterday? Let me guess, that cabinet opened itself and two bottles magically fell out while you were dusting the room" she said, annoyed.
-
"Agreed. Thank you Rouge," smiled Hope. "Any time." ---- Zamy saw the smashed bottles. "What the heck are you two doing in here!?"
-
There was a loud "bang" as the grenade went off, shattering the skeleton's skull. "That was pretty close," said Hope. ---- "You're right, let's go." Zamy hurried to the source of the noise.
-
"Sure." Rouge lifted Hope up and flew close to the monster, giving her the chance to throw the grenade into its mouth. --- Zamy picked up the invitations and teleported to Haven.
-
"Worth a shot," replied Hope, fumbling with the grenade as she tried to get it lit, all the while the giant skeleton getting closer. ---- "So, shall we go?"
-
"I think they've fused into... that," said Hope. ---- "No. I couldn't possibly comment on that. You've not been given a single day without some emergency rearing its head."
-
"That's one big skeleton." ---- "I wouldn't say that," replied Zamy, finishing the last card.
-
"We're about to find out," said Hope, turning a tight corner. ---- "I wouldn't call a 30 second task 'work'."
-
"That's good to know." ----- "I'm not sure how that'd be faster."
-
"I'm impressed some made it this far," said HRH Hope. ---' "Well that'd take care of Haven. I'll still have to teleport off to the UF."
-
Rouge and the two different Hopes cautiously headed further into the cave, stepping over old bones with tatters of clothes still remaining. --- Zamy adjusted it. "Great. Hopefully we can hand them out quickly in one fell swoop.'
-
"It could be. I can't really tell." ---- Zamy copied it down. "Like this?"
-
"Yes. Something bigger alongside a group of our shambling friends." ---- "Ok, if you tell me the design I can try and put them on the cards."
-
"Indeed, though I think I hear something else," replied Rouge. ---- "Exactly. Now, are you ready?"
-
"That might work." The group entered the cave, Hope in front with her torch. ---- "With my teleporter escaping disaster is quite easy. And I have spares on case this breaks.'
-
"Probably a horde of skeletons inside," muttered Rouge. ---- "Well I have to be prepared for any eventuality."
-
"I think I see a cave up ahead." --- Zamy returned with her supplies.
-
"I'm not one to sit on my backside whilst you're descending into the depths of the unknown." ---- "Great." Zamy smiled and headed into her room to get her stationary.
-
"If we don't my kingdom's going to be under new management soon." ---- "Great. I'll go get the supplies."
-
HRH Hope pulled out a compass and pointed into the fog. "This way, west." ---- "Agreed. Do you want to give the invites out later? We can make some fancy cards if you want."
-
Most likely. We should keep moving," said HRH Hope, running after the others with her counterpart. ---- When she reached the apartment, Zamy checked her PDA. "No urgent messages. That's relieving."
-
"I think that's all of them," said Rouge. ---- Zamy paid the bill then got up to leave.
