Hope activated the teleporter and brought them and the robot back to her lab. "Well we aren't dead so it must've worked."

"I know. Now we just need to get this hunk of scrap back."

The robot came running over, trying and failing to grab ahold of Melody. Hope popped out and fired the EMP, causing the robot to stumble and finally fall to the ground. "It worked perfectly."

Hope got in position behind a tree.

"That's a fair comment. Ooh, here comes a robot."

"At least I'd go out in style!"

"A few have. But it was just a case of not working as opposed to catastrophic disintegration. Haven't even burnt my eyebrows off."

Hope readied her EMP gun. "This is my first field test of it."

"A couple minutes most likely."

Hope teleported them to a path a little outside the city.

"We should be able to take back one full robot if we're lucky. I've not tested it though."

"That's fair. We won't be long Topaz," she called.

"Only when it's convenient for me. I'm sure you'll one up me at some point anyway," laughed Hope.

"Technically I do with my zone breaching platform."

"Ok, I've got a good spot in mind. Putting in the coordinates now "

"Now we just need to pick a spot that Eggman's robots are patrolling in."

Hope found it herself and picked it up. "Good to go."

"Like a regular G.U.N sidearm but with a big blue lightning bolt on each side of the grip."

"Good plan. Now I just need to find where I put it," replied Hope as she looked around.

"I have an experumental EMP gun, so basically, yeah."

"Sure. I'll have to get some gear first though."

"I could do if we found some."

"Yes. First things first I'm going to need the base body, the endoskeleton. I'll order in some parts as we don't exactly keep unfinished robots lying around."

"Good to hear."

Hope giggled. "I'm afraid you won't do much assassinating here."
