While this character may seem duplicitous, when the chips are down they'll back the good guys.

*chaos controls in front of Skye* i'm surprised you showed up. You got guts.
-
I was referring to Skye, as he's literally yellow. I was making a bad Western joke. Gah. I'm very good at posting at the same time as other people it seems.
-
Ok pilgrim I've had enough out of you. Its time we settled this like men. Be at the old clocktower at noon. Unless of course you're yella'
-
I'm still here Skye. And I'm winning.

(Thanks for pointing that out Skye. I'm on my phone and accidently whacked a tick icon. I've corrected it now I hope) Very well. *chaos controls to cheerleader* Sorry about that chocolate *gives money* here, buy yourself some more.
-
I don't have it. I knocked it out of his hand. It's probably only 2ft away from him.
-
Hey I'm not running out of fear, I just er... remembered I'm having dinner with Rouge and I don't want to be late. Yes that'll do. They won't suspect a thing.
-
As do I Skye. But now for my first impression: Jesse Owens. *runs away from Dark Super Cheerleader*
-
Oh no you don't *knocks chocolate out of cheerleader's hand* Guess I'm winning again
-
If you truly are a cheerleader then cheer as I cruise back into the lead.

Fools. I am the clear victor here

Sonic Boom (Cartoon)
Shadow the Hedgehog replied to BlurryDawgo's topic in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
I was going to mention his plan in 3 & Knuckles, which was pretty good, but I didn't for some reason. And I must admit I forgot about Labyrinth, though to be honest, that plan was just strange, I mean, if you know where your arch enemy lives, rather than attack it, you get a robot to sneak in, give him friction boots and then say "come and get me". I guess the Doctor wants to gloat to Sonic after his victory. I'll give him points for originality though. -

Sorry for my late response. I've been doing other things. Anyway, I think there's been a misunderstanding. It seems like we're saying the same thing, that there needs balance. I do have a habit of phrasing things in a confrontational manner so I apologise if it came off as me violently disagreeing with you. -

Yeah that probably was the goal of AOSTH. Anyway with regards to Eggman you're preaching to the choir; I don't want him being a complete buffoon, but I also don't want him to become totally humourless either. The last time they played Eggman as a straight up villain was Sonic 06, and we all know how that went. Take away his quirky and (with regards to the Egg pawns) narcissistic robot designs, his sense of humour and his inflated opinion of himself, and he isn't a particularly interesting villain. Those traits should be used to compliment his character and villainy, but not supercede it, if you get what I mean. -

To be honest AOSTH Robotnik was more of a victim than a villain. It seems Murphy's Law followed him relentlessly. I agree he isn't what I'm looking for in a Robotnik either. But like you said, we don't have any details on Boom, or even know if its confirmed. I guess only time will tell. -

That demotivator is stupid. But the author of that article seems to forget Robotnik never was much of a serious villain to begin with. In the Mega Drive games he wasn't exactly threatening or even particularly competent for a guy with an IQ 300, considering he never accounted for Sonic's speed even after fighting him several times. People seem to take SATAM Robotnik and extrapolate him to the games which just doesn't work. He became a much more solid villain in the Adventure games, but he never went insanely evil or sadistic like in SATAM. Personally I like a balance between competent threat and eccentric evil genius. To make him a straight up evil nut would make him kinda dull, at least to me. I'm guessing this cartoon will probably focus more on his eccentric, less effective side considering its aimed at kids. Hopefully its not as extreme as AOSTH, there he couldn't fight his way through a wet tissue. -
*sitting in ARK observatory chair* Everyone's gone from this universe. I guess that means I've won....this is boring. Somebody do something!

Although I prefer cartoon styles like those in SATAM or the 90s X Men tv show over anime, I must say that I'd much rather have anime if that cartoon style wasn't being used, which I fear it won't be. And while I find the story of Underground ok, I don't like the spontaneous musical numbers. This is Sonic, not Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. -

That image at the top of the article makes me want to gouge out my eyes with a rusty spoon. But as for the cartoon itself, it could work depending on what style it goes for. They mention its going for a more conedic approach. Whether I like that really depends on what kind of comedy they go for, which means I'll have to wait and see. Given this guy's previous work, I'm not getting my hopes up. -
What are those idiots doing? Ramming one exploding space station with another. Brilliant plan. Oh well, guess I'll eat my cake before the universe gets destroyed.

Do remember that Sony's Playstation Plus gives you access to free games every month on top of multiplayer. As a Xbox Live Gold member, I really wish Microsoft would do something like that with the 360. The Xbox One can implode for all I care. There's so many things wrong with it, my biggest complaint being the installation of games and tying them to your account. If I wanted that I'd get everything on my laptop. I often share games with my brother, so the Xbox One clearly isn't for me. It seems like this E3 has been good for everyone except Microsoft. Sony had everyone practically in the palm of their hand, Nintendo has Smash Brothers and Bayonetta 2, even EA have scored points with stuff like the Star Wars Battlefront teaser, which has really gotten me excited.

*jumps over fire wave* Woah Blaze don't do that. Unless you want to get sucked into the cold, dark void of space. I've been there, you get a nice view once in a while but that's the only thing going for it. What are you doing here anyway? I'm just baking myself a cake. Is that a crime in your dimension or something?

*looks out of window* It appears Skye's gong to take out the cheerleader. Good for him. *hits button, revealing joystick* I'll just get ready with the missile batteries and take him out once he's dealt with the cheerleader.
