Ever heard of chaos blast? Means I win!
-
(OOC I'm fine with it becoming RPM2)
-
(OOC Ok. I get it now. Thanks. To be honest the security idea wasn't that bad. And no if he had a plan he never told me about it).
-
(OOC Both. I'm awfully confused. I thought we were still dreaming, but we're communicating with cheerleader.)
-
(OOC Anyone care to explain what exactly's happened?)
-
This is a shot in the dark but Scourge?
-
"But you did gain something. This little experience has cemented our trust and faith in you, my friend. Surely that is something to be happy about?"
-
(OOC It was one of the most interesting stories I've experienced in a while. You set the mood well, brought in twists at the right time. All things considered you did a Darn good job).
-
Shadow walked over and put a hand on Skye's shoulder, while maintaining a firm grasp on his counterpart. "You did it Skye. Never doubted you for a second." He said smiling before turning to Locke. "I don't know how the head jumping'll work. I suggest you get a firm grasp on your lady friend. If things go as planned I imagine we'll be catapulted back into our own subconsciouses with our new pals. Try to keep things decent in there." he said with a wink before walking over to Dylsn. "Councilor you truly are a man of many secrets."
-
Shadow was struck by Miles fist, but it was only a glancing blow. His response was to grab Miles' hand, preventing him from going on the offensive. All the while, his new found ally kept up the pressure "Come on Skye!" he shouted, "Seize your destiny."
-
Shadow summoned what was left of his strength and ran towards Miles before delivering a kick to his gut. He knew he was only.serving as a distraction, but he hoped it was enough to give Skye an edge. As soon as he was clear, his doppelganger swept in at a much greater pace. They continued this pattern, randomising their attack direction, hoping to break Miles' concentration.
-
"Very well" the doppelganger replied. "We have an accord." "Excellent, now would you be so kind as to get off me. It appears Miles is powering up." Shadow got up and stood there leaning on his counterpart. "Finally it's coming to an end. Come on Skye you can do it. Just one last push and your father will never torment you again. I hate to say it Red Eyes but I don't think any intervention will help. It's between Skye and Miles now."
-
(ooc Well when you start messing with the fabric of the mind, getting it wrong has rather unpleasant results unfortunately).
-
"No. Your brain was scrambled. You went nuts if you were unlucky and brain dead if you were lucky."
-
"For Knuckles to get here both he and Skye would have to be on a pad at the GUN lab. Which isn't likely. And yes if she jumped into your head she could, again theoretically, be brought to our world. It hasn't been tested all that much and requires a lot of calibration to each subject, but they've got it to a stage where if it doesn't work you just pass out. Before...." Shadow shuddered at the thought.
-
"G.U.N have been experimenting with technologies like that yes. The theory is that this world or any dream world for that mattee, as it exists in all the dimensions of our conscious world, might actually exist as another plane. So theoretically you can transfer beings or objects from one plane to the other. Think of it like going in and out of a TV screen." (OOC I'm pretty certain there's some crazy physics theory that says pretty much this).

As Shadow was pinned by his doppelganger, he heard Locke's offer and decided to make one of his own, hoping a more mercenary approach would appeal to his evil self. "You like the hunt more than the kill right? The smell of fear as you pursue your victim, toying with them? Well if you do what you were paid to do, you'll have no one left to hunt and Miles will stab you in the back first chance he gets. You're too much of a threat to him. Hear me out. If you forget about what the Acorns paid you to do, and help us take down Miles, I'll give you a free ride out of here, in my head. The people I work for can get you out. Then I'll pay you double what the Acorns did to leave Skye alone, and I'll keep you in work. We've got a lot of people we need gone, and you're the guy for the job. Think about it. You'll get money, the hunt, immunity and most importantly, your freedom. Unless you want to be trapped here forever. Your choice."
-
Shadow rolled out of the way of the bolt, barely. "If I had my powers I'd tear him a new one" he growled to himself. He knew he was out of options. Taking off his rings would do little: he had used up almost all of his energy before. Hearing Locke, he chimed in his support. "Skye, you're in control. You aren't the failure, he is. He failed you. If you focus, you can turn this all against him. Then you'll be free. You just have to stand up to him. You can do it!"
-
Struck a nerve did I? Haha... no, you aren't Tails. He has a sense of honour, of right and wrong. You, well you're just a jumped up little punk. As for Dylan, well you may have released the beast but his mind is still intact. I'd wager his will trumps that of a mindless animal. I have faith in him." Shadow then addressed the assassins. "You know there's one thing I don't get. You were hired to kill the Prowers, but you appear to be forgetting Miles there. Why is that? Surely your employer wanted him out of the way as well. Why not finish the job now? Skye why don't you try to remember. That might remind them of the full extent of their contract. Don't waste your time Locke. Miles wouldn't bring us this far to listen to reason. He is beyond redemption."
-
"I have an alternative proposal. You get the hell out of Skye's head, Tails, and I promise we won't feed you to Dylan."
-
(OOC Sorry)
-
"Well I guess that works too" Shadow said as he followed Melody, carefully stepping over the dazed Dylan.
-
"Oh for crying out loud. Get with the program Dylan. If you're looking for a nice meal then come with us, we got someone you can eat. He's real juicy and tender, whereas us, well think about it, Locke's all old and tough, it'd be like eating a boiled shoe. Skye and Melody are far too bony and I have loads of quills. Be patient and you'll get a far better meal."
-
Shadow painfully got to his feet, before helping Locke up. "Throne room, right. Lead the way Skye."
-
"2 heavily wounded old guys trying to protect 2 scared kids from a being of supreme malevolence? Sure, what are we waiting for?!
