"I never was one for beaches." replied Crowley, having appeared behind her. "Far too crowded for my liking."
-
Shadow suddenly appeared next to Rouge and Red. "Give the children my sincerest apologies. Something urgent has come up." "Well shouldn't I come with you?" asked Rouge. "No, they only asked for me. I've got to go and meet the others now. If all goes well I'll be back within 4 hours or less." With that Shadow teleported off again.
-
"There's nithing I can do now as Glen's with the kids. Guess I'll wait for Shadow to come back and tell me what exactly's going on. Failing that, I'll deal with Glen when the kid's are busy. If he's got nothing to hide he should have no problem talking. That should get us to the bottom of this mess."
-
"He's doing the right thing I guess. Whoever got him like this is lucky. He's only left to calm down. Don't want him killing anyone in such a crowded location. If I ever find out who did it Shadow'll be the least of their worries. One of the few days we go out together to the beach, and they have to set him off. It takes a lot to make him do this. I just wonder where he is now."
-
Shadow let out a loud hmph before going back to the screen. After reading it over he teleported away as Rouge walked up behind him. Now alone, she just sat down and sighed.
-
"I'm the ultimate lifeform. I am not comparable to some low grade DEL mercenary. I sympathise with his plight, but there's still something not right about him."
-
"There isn't much to tell. The guy's an overreactive fool. That and I just don't trust him. There's something about him I don't like. I think he knew more than he was letting on back at the compound."
-
"I'd rather not talk about it. Let's just say I should've left Glen to the werehogs." replied Shadow as he pulled a PDA from Rouge's bag, tapping away at the buttons.
-
Shadow released Glen and teleported off, frustrated. Rouge got up having seen the light from Shadow's chaos control. "Ok who's the unlucky idiot who got on his wrong side?" she asked herself as she walked towards the hole.
-
"Don't make me laugh. I've taken care of harder men than yourself, but if you must pretend, you'll meet your end." Shadow was resolute.
-
Shadow dragged Glen into the hole and covered his mouth. "The only person drawing attention here is you with all that shouting. Plenty of kids dig holes at the beach. So just relax."
-
"Just regular vanilla for me please."
-
"If you would get me a vanilla Dylan I'd appreciate it. Consider your discount increased." said Shadow as he began to dig into the more compacted layer of sand.
-
Shadow appeared seconds later with 2 shovels, one half the size of the other, which he gave to Melody. "Mind if I help you out?"
-
Shadow walked out of the water and over to Melody. "Wait here, I might be able to help you out." he said as he teleported into town.
-
Shadow saw a man ogling at Rouge, and threw a curveball at him, hitting him in the left cheek and knocking him to the floor. The ball then rolled next to Rouge's foot. "Little help Rouge?" "Sure thing honey" she replied, kicking the ball to him. "Count yourself lucky it didn't hit me. Otherwise you'd be having a very lonely night." she added
-
"Hey Melody why don't you dig a big hole? It's something to do. You could bury Glen in it or something."
-
"Ah fine" Shadow then took careful aim at Zet and delicately skipped the ball across a row of sandcastles before it whacked him in the knee and rolled back.
-
"Thanks Skye" he shouted, catching the ball. He then swam along the shore, searching for his next tsrget.
-
Shadow's beach ball bounced off of Glen's face and rolled towards the water before stopping at the edge.
-
"Haha that's one way of looking at it."
-
"Yeah, I see what you mean Red. It is pretty strange."
-
"I'm sure we can sort that out." replied Shadow as he waded into the water, waiting to strike his first victim.
-
"Deal. But you should know those Brotherhood cards Locke and Knuckles have are no good in the United Federation. You'd have more chance of paying via barter."
-
"15-20%, maybe more if I'm feeling generous when I give you the discount cards." "What's funny?" asked Rouge as she put on some sunglasses.
