Shadow the Hedgehog

Shadow laughed to himself at Melody's concern for her age, given he had no idea what his technical age was, age was meaningless to him.

"Yes Hope is still here. I see you've been busy Skye."

Rouge walked back into her room and gave Shadow and Hope their drinks. "It seems Skye has a girlfriend." Shadow casually shrugged in response and walked out to the main room, his face still totally expressionless.

"Haha. So long as you don't feel guilty over the tiniest little thing I'd say it turned out well enough." (OOC I'm off now. Good night).

"Well if it was anyone else, they'd have found it funny. Don't be too hard on yourself Melody."

"Hope tested Shadow's sense of humour. Not the best of decisions. They're fine now, but he wasn't happy."

Rouge walked into the main room to get herself, Hope and Shadow a drink, passing Melody on the way out.

Hope shut the door behind her. "Well, I've been thinking, I might like to become a combat engineer." Shadow's face dropped. "What? Why on earth would you want to do that Hope?" "I want to experience the action and I think I'd be more useful in the field." "Hope if you do that you could be killed. I don't want to see you hurt. It was hard enough earlier." Hope tried to answer but decided not to continue the ruse at Shadow was clearly worried about her. "Don't worry Shadow I was only joking. I just wanted to see your reaction to it. I can see now it wasn't the best idea." Shadow remained unamused. "Please don't worry me like that Hope." "Sorry," she replied sheepishly before hugging him.

Hope knocked on Shadow's door. After a few moments he opened it and stepped out. "Hope. Do you need something?" "Not much, I just wanted to discuss something with you," she replied, having a look back at Melody with a wink.

Crowley was unconvinced. "I highly doubt Skye has taken any of your medication. There is surely a more plausible explanation."

"And that is?" asked Crowley.

Hope nodded to Melody as they entered the room. Crowley gave a simple wave to the trio. "Enjoy yourselves?" he asked.

"Hehe fair enough."

"Even if he did he wouldn't go far I'd imagine."

"I might pretend. And I know."

"Once I explain I have no desire to actually go out there on a real mission he shouldn't have any objections."

"Yeah, I think I will. If'll give me a better insight uf nothing else."

"Yeah. I never thought we'd finish it but we did!" said an ecstatic, exhausted Hope.

"I think we just beat it. We won!"

"Go for it."

Hope squeezed the trigger and the bullet hit the dragon between the eyes. Hope had been thrown off balance a bit by the recoil, but quickly regained her stance. "Thanks Honey."

Hope shot at the other wing until she ran out of ammo, then pulled out her pistol and aimed the dragon's head.

Hope dived to the floor and opened up on the dragon's wings. "I think you're right there, girls."

"For a final boss this isn't that hard. Or maybe we're just too good."
