Shadow the Hedgehog

"Good luck guys," said Hope to Glen and Honey.

"Of course I did," whispered Hope, who soon looked confused at the song choice.

"That's fine Ziona. You can sing on your own." (OOC I'd say, say they sang song X, and you can post the youtube video if you want).

"Excellent. We have our first volunteers. Now why don't you two pick your song?" said a cheerful Hope as she booted up the machine.

"So, who wants to go first? This has hits from every time, and every place, so there's bound to be something you know," said Hope with a big grin.

Hope took the karaoke machine into the main room and presented it to the group. "Hey everyone. We saw this when we were out earlier and we thought it'd be good, harmless fun."

"Shall we take it out to the others then?"

"Oh no you don't, I'll go with you Melody."

Hope looked mortified. "We... we are?... I guess we'll have to find a duet then."

"Sure. Well all it is Tikal is picking a song from a list then singing along to it. The funny part is that most people who do it can't sing very well at all, myself included."

Hope stuck her head out the door with a smile. "You bet."

Granted, you can't understand anyone else as they all speak a mish-mash of Swahili and Cantonese. I wish for my very own Claptrap unit.

"I live not only thousands of miles away but also several thousand feet below you. And both Rouge and l have full time jobs that send us all over the place. Though we may see him on special occassions if we have the time."

"There's nothing much more to say Red, other than you and Locke are going to have to get used to Skye's.... new behaviour. We only have to deal with it for a few more days," replied Shadow

Hope, Rouge and Shadow entered the main room and sat down on the sofa. "Well things certainly have progressed rapidly," said Shadow.

Crowley smiled to himself in the knowledge that at least one of the others shared his view.

"Because we are staying here, that's why. It's not like we're causing any harm," said Crowley.

"I think the sentiment Melody is expressing is one of bewilderment. I must admit I do find their over the top affection a bit nauseating," said Crowley.

Shadow chaos controlled to their apartment, grabbed the book then chaos controlled back. "You really are impatient Shadow," she said as she took the book and flicked through it. "A-ha, your birthday is in 1 month and 2 days. I'll have to get you something," she said nonchalantly as she shut the book.

"I don't know if there are any dragons here. I'll have to look into it," said Crowley.

"Any particular pet?"

"You can always make a final decision closer to the time Melody. And what do you want Skye?"

"Do you want the actual machines or just a console and the games? Because I can get you either," said Crowley. (OOC Maybe, That might be a fun side trip later on).

"Presents? Not a clue. What do you want?" Crowley asked Skye and Melody.

At the mention of the word birthday, a thought suddenly crossed Shadow's mind. He went back to his room and approached Rouge. "This might seem odd, but do you remember when my 'birthday' is, or rather, the day I was created on?" "Hmmm, maybe in my contact book back at our apartment. We can check when we get back."
