Shadow the Hedgehog

Hope looked even more bewildered at the situation.

Hope was looking around in total disbelief. This wasn't physically possible. Now that she thought about it, the area round her home was also scientifically unfounded. As she tried to think of some logical explanation, she heard Red call her name. "Red? What are you doing here?"

As Shadow walked into the forest, for the first time in this dream he felt a terrible sense of foreboding. Something just felt wrong, and he didn't like it. The trees that would have before seemed beautiful and harmless, where now cover from which sinister eyes could watch from afar, plotting their next move. Perhaps this was the plan all along, lull him into a false sense of security then slowly shift his dream into a nightmare? He wasn't sure, but he was glad it was just him. He wouldn't want anyone invading his dreams like what happened to Skye. That'd only make matters worse.

"Yeah. I'm sure things can only go up from here," (OOC Ah the foolish naivety of youth).

"This is so exciting. I wonder where this'll take us."

"Then that make's it all the better," she replied before hopping in. --------- Having packed everything, Shadow, Rouge and Hope set off at a leisurely pace. Shadow was in no rush, after all, they had all the time in the world

Hope gleefully followed Melody.

"I'd be honoured," said an excited Hope.

Hope blushed when Melody mentioned her. She wasn't expecting it at all, given the occassion.

Hope just smiled as Melody was crowned and stood up.

Hope said her lines when the time came, happy that she got to be a part of her friend's big moment.

(OOC No I don't have a clue how coronations proceed unfortunately. So a montage is probably the best way to go).

Hope returned the hug. "It's what friends are for," she said before turning to the door.

"Thanks Mina," said Hope as she looked at the paper. "Ok I'm good to go."

"Ok, is there a bit of paper with my lines on? It helps to know them before I go out there."

"Ok. I won't let you down."

"I'd love to take part. Don't worry, you aren't forcing me into it."

"It's up to you Melody. It is your ceremony after all."

"Exactly. Well now that's sorted, where do I go from here?"

Hope had a look through the wardrobe and pulled out a dark purple dress. "This one looks nice. And it seems to fit reasonably well."

"Yeah it shouldn't be too hard. Lead the way."

"I would, but I don't know if you'll have anything that'll fit me. I am a human after all. Though there's no harm in trying."

"That crown really does suit you Melody."

Hope hugged Melody back while gazing at the display. ---------------------- Rouge put her arm round Shadow and leaned her head on his shoulder. "Morning handsome," she said wearily. "Morning Rouge," he replied. "I see Maria's up. It was so nice of Gerald to let her come over. Where did you go anyway?" "Gerald?... oh we just went for a walk. We're heading to the forest for a little trip, you want to come?" "Sure Shadow, why not?" she replied, her tiredness making her miss his confusion at Gerald being alive and seemingly sane.
