(OOC What idea?) "Well at least you aren't clingy. Or maybe you're just hiding it, waiting until my back is turned. Then there'll be no escape. Everywhere you go I'll be dragged along as your hostage-friend," joked Hope

"I think you're right Melody. Maybe it's magic? Some strange voodoo echidna stuff? I don't know what they can do. Or maybe Skye's just really... clingy or something. I'm not one to believe in love at first sight and all that nonsense," said Hope.

"It is very sudden. They haven't even known each other for a day. But as long as he's happy. I can only imagine what it must be like for you."

Hope laughed. "Yeah you're right. Well at least he's settling here nicely. Dating a ghost is pretty weird, but at least he's actually dating."

Hope gave him a smile and went back to Melody. "It's mostly cleared up, though Locke's still in the firing line. He compared Maria and Tikal. Perhaps he forgot the key distinction that one died saving her friend, and the other is currently walking around with his adoptive son, very much alive." She then gave off a sigh. "I think his anger is starting to rub off on me. Am I gonna be like him when I'm 30?" she pondered aloud.

"I see. I suppose I should have a chat with him. Hopefully I won't be too long," she replied as she managed to catch up to Shadow. "Shadow, are you Ok?" "Not particularly. Supposedly a while back GUN gave information regarding the Ark, and me, that they killed Maria and the rest of those researchers for. And they give to the Darned brotherhood of all people. And then of course Locke compared Maria to Tikal, for what reason I don't know," he replied "I knew that colonel who ordered the raid was a disgrace, so it honestly doesn't surprise me. But he's long dead thankfully, and GUN's changed since then. It certainly wouldn't have been Tower or anyone currently at GUN who gave the information. Though I'll be honest it doesn't make much sense that they'd give it in the first place. I was sure GUN never made contact with the Mobians until recently. As for Locke's ill advised comparison, I'm with you." "Thanks Hope, I see your point. At least it wasn't the current administration who gave it over."

Hope wandered up to Melody, looking at Shadow up ahead. "What just happened? He seemed to be fine when he was talking to you a few minutes ago," she asked.

(OOC I meant what did the brotherhood give GUN that was so important).

(OOC Oh no that sure ain't happening.. Once he's settled things with GUN he'll be fine. He's just incredibly frustrated and appalled they handed out secrets that they were willing to kill civilians to protect. Can you honestly blame him?) "Very well," said Shadow as he took a big swig from his flask.

"Considering I just learnt my employers are so incompetent as to hand out sensitive data to people they know little about, I'd say I'm taking it rather well. Especially as I now have to conduct a thorough security sweep and suggest even more protocols to prevent this happening again. You brought this anger on yourself Locke. Always meddling. Now if you'll excuse me, Dylan still needs to be found."

"Which way Skye?" asked Shadow impatiently

"This changes nothing. Destroy the data. It's a simple request."

(OOC Locke, that doesn't seem very plausible. I mean GUN weren't exactly chummy with anyone back then, to put it mildly, and they certainly wouldn't have handed out top secret data to people not within their ranks). "Good. If only they died before they opened their mouths."

"I was still in control of access. GUN has only fairly recently contacted you Mobians. I have been betrayed. There are no two ways about it."

"No thank you Mina," he replied bitterly.

(OOC I was more referring to the fact you just destroyed GUN's credibility as an intelligence agency). "Fine. Let's just find him and get the hell out of here! I have a resignation to hand in," said Shadow, still fuming with rage.

(OOC You've opened up a whole can of worms there Locke).

"No it wasn't given to you. I control access to all information regarding the Ark. It is above top secret. So I'm going to give you one more chance."

Shadow looked at Locke with all the malice he could muster. "I don't know how you got that information, but destroy it and never steal our data ever again. You have absolutely no right to that information. If you refuse, or do it again, there will be severe consequences for your entire island." Shadow then turned his back and walked off. "All the more reason to wake up so I can plug this security breach," muttered Shadow. "Clearly it is not her dream Red," said Crowley.

"Somehow I reckon you won't be as overbearing as those two Melody. And Locke, I'm not jealous, nor would you have access to the Ark's databases, and they certainly wouldn't mention a thousand year old echidna in the first place."

"Yeah. Though I prefer her mad fanaticism to Skye's sickly sweet 'Oh Tikal is the most wonderful person in the world' attitude. Certainly is fun to watch Crowley have to go along with it. He's taking it better than I would," said Shadow

"Now you know for sure exactly what I look like, for future reference," whispered Crowley. Shadow looked over to Crowley. "Well if you ever needed confirmation that you aren't you mother, take a look over there," he said to Melody.

Crowley chuckled. "It is peculiar. Perhaps it stems from you not knowing what I look like. Ah well, no matter."

In an attempt to minimise the damage Crowley sprung up and took hold of Mina. "Don't worry about that my dear. It's just a dream after all. Things were bound to be strange. Who knows what qualities your subconscious has projected into this dream child?" Shadow knelt beside Melody. "Calm down Melody. Don't worry, you're not acting like your mother, I assure you," he whispered so Mina couldn't hear.
