Shadow the Hedgehog

Don't think I'll do this challenge. I like my current picture. It looks rather dignified.

"That's putting it mildly Melody," he replied.

"Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. Being swallowed is not an experience I wish to repeat," said Crowley.

Crowley swatted any werehog dumb enough to get close, the energy in his fist making the process rather simple, at least for the time being. Shadow similarly utilised his chaos spears to good effect, keeping them away from Hope, Rouge and himself, calmly waiting for Hamlin to reappear before he went on the offensive.

"Yeah. I just hope I don't get anyone act mushy towards me," replied Hope, still in a hushed voice. Crowley laughed. "Perhaps Mina. Though I must admit I now have the strongest desire for some bacon. I haven't had it in quite some time," he said with a grin as he charged up a ball of anarchy beryl energy.

(OOC Hehe yeah, that's pretty much it).

Hope almost gagged at Skye's comment, as Rouge summoned the strength to bring her palm up to her face. "I think he's only going to get worse," Hope whispered to Melody.

Crowley released Mina's hand when it was clear they were free from danger. "That was an interesting challenge. Don't think I've ever had to go inside something to kill them. Regardless, thank you for helping me out Mina."

Hope let out a small groan at Tikal's over reaction. "He's just up ahead. It's not like he's dropped off the face of the Earth," she muttered to herself, as she moved forward with the group and as the scenery shifted, Skye was clearly visible up ahead. "No objections here," said Crowley as he grabbed Mina and ran away from the creature's body just as the capsule's contents lit it up.

"I'm sure you will my dear," he replied with a small smile.

Crowley took her hand, and maneuvered himself out from under the heart. "Thank you Mina. It appears I owe you."

Hope let Rouge lean on her and moved up with the rest of the group. "Mina? I'm down here. Don't let those things touch you, unless being dissolved and absorbed is your idea of a good time," yelled Crowley.

Crowley was unaware of Mina outside. He thrust his hand through the armour and into the creature's heart. As it toppled over he found he was pinned to the wall by the still beating heart. "Well this is inconvenient," he said as he tried to push it off to no avail, the white blobs moving ever closer to him.

"It's fine Skye. Yeah, let's get moving." Crowley crawled back up the inside of the creature and went to the heart. He smashed at the armour as fast as he could, and charged up anarchy beryl energy in his fist to finally break through it.

Shadow limped over to Skye and outstretched his hand to help him up. "Of course not. You have no idea how guilty I feel about the last time. If I did it again, I'd probably throw myself out of an airlock on the Ark. And don't worry, Crowley isn't going to become your father or otherwise mess with your past. Whether him and Mina get together at some point in the far future after all your life's events have happened as they should have is a different story, but it will have no cataclysmic effects on your lives."

"Yes I'm well aware. It would be disastrous if those two got together. You want to know what is worse? I could impersonate Crowley and do it myself. How would you like that, 'son'? Because I'm definitely planning on doing that, I mean, I've messed with it once, why not do it again?" said Shadow, just a slight hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"I'm not trying to rewrite your past. Do you honestly think her going to find him will result in him doing anything with her? Do you think he's that perverse? He is nigh impossible to find on Moebius, and is a very solitary individual. If she somehow manages to find him, he will not know who she is, and will promptly brush her off."

Shadow noticed Skye's waving and decided to amend his position. "I'll be close by if I'm needed. What are the rest of you going to do?"

Shadow sensed the tone in Mina's voice, and seeing how much pain Rouge was in; he swiftly put her down. "On second thought, why don't you go on your own? If there's a chance to impress him, this is it," he said.

"I'll come with you," groaned Shadow as he pulled himself up, going over to Rouge and carefully picking her up as well.

"Dylan? I haven't seen him since I originally left with Skye to find Melody and Hope."

"Haven't seen anyone around here. Crowley was with us but a tornado scattered us three all over the place after he insulted Eggman. Haven't seen him since."

"it's this stupid dream messing with you Melody. Think about it, if it can pulverise Shadow, it can make you freeze up."

Hope had a look of shock. "Melody, I'm so sorry. You must've been scared out of your mind. It wasn't your fault you couldn't do anything, the body can shut down in times like that. I know it's not much consolation," she said solemnly. "Better? Both Rouge and I are badly injured thanks to a nightmarish version of myself that only reacted to her attacks. So no, things are much worse," replied Shadow.
