"Yeah pretty much. Things can only get better from here," replied Hope with mock optimism. ---- "Yes quite. I suppose it is rather refreshing to see people enjoy life for once."
-
Hope heard the door shut. "Guess it got you too, Melody?" --- "'Adorable' wouldn't be the word I use to describe it. But it is definitely... something."
-
Hope could faintly hear Melody calling her name. "I'm in this room but the door's locked behind me. Just keep going and I'll meet up with you when I get out," she called back. --- "Yes, let's do that," replied Crowley.
-
Granted, we play it and then give it terrible reviews. I wish for conversation.
-
Hope went into the next room and felt a sudden drop in temperature. She could see her breath in front of her. "This can only mean something's about to happen," she said to yourself as she wandered through the room.
-
Hope looked down the hallway and saw various rooms going down each side. Upon entering the first one on the right, the door immediately shut itself and locked behind her. "Automated door. No use waiting around then," she said as she surveyed the room; the table at one end was overturned, filing cabinets were open and the room looked a general mess. Meant to be the work of poltergeists she assumed. Even though she knew it wasn't real, the scenario still had an eerie aura to it.
-
Hope continued down the hallway at a cautious pace, knowing something was going to happen soon.
-
Hope heard Skye's laughter and turned the corner to find a small elevator to her right. "I'll go first," she said, pressing the button. The doors opened and she stepped inside ;there was only one button intact, up. She pressed it and sure enough the doors closed and the elevator went up one floor. Stepping out she immediately jumped as a chair flew across the hall in front of her, coming to rest on the wall. "Wasn't expecting that." "I'll try not to, but I can't guarantee anything Red."
-
Hope quickly stepped back and tried to think logically. "I'm not sure what it is," she looked around for a projector but could see none. "Let's just get going," she said before hurriedly heading forward. "Indeed. Though we're not completely out of the clear yet."
-
"It's a hallway. Kinda reminds me of one you'd see in a hotel or a mansion," said Hope as she went past a cracked mirror, her reflection distorted. "Certainly seen better days." "No we certainly didn't. But it seems times have changed."
-
Hope giggled at Anna's joke as she made it through the hole. "Well at least there's light in here so we can see what we're running away from," she said. "I must say Red I don't think I've ever done this before; gone for a leisurely stroll through a town."
-
Hope laughed. "I know that Skye, I'm only joking." ---- "Well I suppose we could see what's about the town."
-
"Let's get moving," said Hope as she lead the others ot the hole in the wall. "I'm not quite sure. What is there to do?"
-
Hope stuck her hand out to Melody. "Come on, next section's this way ladies." "Ok then Red. Why not?"
-
"Well I think I can hear them talking. I guess that's a good sign," said Hope as she could see something start to come into view. "Hello Red. I see your condition has improved."
-
Hope jumped when she heard the screams and waited to hear them start moving again. Hearing nothing, she took action. "We should probably go back for the others," she said before reluctantly heading back the way they came, hoping to bump into them fairly quickly so they could progress.
-
As Hope was close to the door she saw it slam shut in front of her eyes. She frantically looked around for another route, taking Tikal's hand and making her way towards what looked like a small hole in the wall.
-
"Heh, yeah. Wait I see the door. Let's go, we're almost there." Hope was eager to move on, unnerved by the situation She knew it wasn't real, but in the back of her mind she wasn't so sure.
-
"Yeah I think you're right," she said, shuddering when she heard whispers all around her.
-
As Hope moved forward she felt something brush against her and let out a small yelp. "Was that you Tikal?" she whispered.
-
"Yeah. It's pretty dark, and I think I hear something moving."
-
"It'll get spookier as we go on Tikal."
-
Hope went through the first part. It was mocked up like a crypt, dimly lit by torches on the walls, the light flickering around the room and over the faux bones in the walls. "They've certainly got a creepy vibe going on here," she thought.
-
"Hopefully. Well, here we go," said Hope as she entered the house proper.
-
"It's fine Melody, really. You three need a chance to bond. And if you want to Tikal, you can."
