"I do too. We're almost out of here!" exclaimed Hope
-
The creature released Skye and clutched the side of his face, seemingly checking his jaw was intact. --- "That's what I meant. There are plenty of PDA type devices that you can carry around yet still keep in contact with people."
-
He picked up Skye by the neck and opened his mouth, revealing his fangs. "Heh I could bake you a cake. And there is this 'revolutionary' technology could a computer. We can easily keep in contact that way."
-
The creature walked into the sword until he was in Skye's face, totally unphased by the display. "How can you hope to kill something that is already dead?" he asked. "Heh you're right. Still, I'd like to make it up to you somehow."
-
The creature laughed at Skye. "Oh no, a torch. Whatever shall I do? What are you going to try next, holy water?" he said sarcastically. "I suppose I owe you for dragging me out of danger on several occasions now," said Hope to Melody.
-
"Well that's disgusting," commented Hope as some of the chao popped. "Still, let's get moving before they regroup." ---- The creature reappeared in front of Skye. "Back again so soon?" he said.
-
Hope wildly swung the torch at the horde. "Back I say! Have at you!" she yelled.
-
Hope grabbed the torch as they went past. "Think I'll take the first option."
-
Hope kept her gaze straight ahead, not wanting to look down and see the results.
-
"Agreed. Just be sure not to trip," replied Hope.
-
"Ok. Just be ready to clean them up afterwards!"
-
"Yeah... behind the horde," said Hope. The creature circled above the others, waiting to make a move.
-
Hope thought for a moment. "Maybe we could go over them? Or use something to clear the path?" she suggested.
-
(OOC That was Hope talking). "Well I was more referring to haunted houses in general. The thought of getting eaten alive by those things is not pleasant," replied Hope.
-
"Deep down humans enjoy being scared and thrilled. Why else do we go on roller coasters? We like the rush, but we know we're still safe." The creature bared its fangs at Skye. "Very well boy," he said before flying away and letting go of Tikal.
-
"I don't expect a mere child to understand." He then noticed Skye. "A persistent one aren't you?" "I dunno. I enjoy a good scare," replied Hope.
-
"I'm not here to be 'nice'. Far from it."
-
Hope laughed. "I think if we tried that we wouldn't be invited back!" The figure just let out a laugh at Skye's protest before turning to Tikal. "Soon you shall be under my control. Then the rest of your friends will follow."
-
"This is where Shadow's brand of problem solving would really come in handy." The figure picked up Tikal and let out a hiss.
-
"I am! I have no intention of getting devoured by a horde of undead chao!" yelled back Hope. The figure gave a sigh. "So be it," it said before spreading it's wings and flying at great speed towards Tikal.
-
"That sounds good," said Hope as she broke into a run. "Believe me, it is quite simple. And it will spare you having to go down there as well."
-
Hope looked at the chao. "I don't know where to begin. Any bright ideas?" asked Hope. "There is a way. Lay down in your graves, and I shall do the rest."
-
"I think a passage is more likely... wait, yeah, I think it was. Be ready for anything," said Hope, shining the torch all over the place. "You can consider me a.... friend," replied the figure as it continued to approach.
-
"Yeah," Hope frantically hit the button, illuminating the area in front of her. As she span around, she saw undergrowth but no sign of what was causing the sounds. "Hello my children," said the figure, speaking in a soft voice.
-
"I'm fine. This place gets better and better... wait, did you hear that?". Above the surface the figure continued its approach, moving slowly, elegantly, as if out for a stroll.
