Closest thing to that I witness are Rouge's flirtations towards Shadow, and as you can guess, that's at the polar end of the scale," said Hope ------ "And I was looking forward to him overstepping the mark and getting tossed into jail. What a pity."

"So did I. But I think it's good that he at least acknowledged it. Maybe they'll tone things down now."

"I don't think Skye liked your dose of reality," said Hope to Melody.

"It's ok Skye. Sounds good Melody," said Hope as she began to follow her.

"Cut out the glaring. We're here to have fun guys."

"Excellent. Good thing you remembered Skye."

"Normally they are just spooky settings and actors popping up. some of them can get pretty involved, like guys chasing you. But it's not anything like what we've just experienced." Hope turned to Melody. "Lunch? Sure I'm in. Any suggestions on where to eat?"

"Mabye. Though I honestly didn't think it'd be this intense. Most haunted houses aren't usually that... involved."

"I don't think she liked any of it. The whole concept of this is probably alien to her."

"Don't worry, you weren't exactly whining all the way through or anything. Looks like we're heading back over to the others," said Hope as she handed over the money and took the bag with the plush in it.

"I do see what you mean. It's perfectly understandable," replied Hope.

"Oh... well I'm sure you'll find something you like somewhere else then."

"Aww why not? Is there nothing you like?"

"I'm sure you can arrange something. Or pick it up when we're heading back."

"Heh, I think you could make good use of him at home. Especially if you can animate him with magic."

"Well I think I'll get this little guy," she replied, motioning to the alien. "I'll have a look around to see if there's anything else. Are you getting anything?"

"Yes quite. Did you enjoy your breakfast?"

Hope was enjoying herself looking around the giftshop. --- "I never had any doubt in my mind to begin with."

"Don't worry. I think there was more to that last bit than meets the eye," said Hope as she perused the gift shop, picking up a soft toy of one of the aliens. Its features had been softened. "Hey it's kinda cute now," she said.

"Glad to see you guys made it. A vampire? Sounds cool."

"It's understandable." Hope looked at her watch. "Any minute now."

The creature slowed to a stop. A sinister smile on his face, he spoke to the children. "You can run as much as you want, I will claim you in the end." His voice was soft and quiet, and it was as if he was standing right next to them. --- "Don't worry Melody. Nothing's gonna happen to them."

The creature began to quicken, letting out a rage filled roar. --- Hope stayed with Melody, waiting for the others to arrive.

Hope put her hand on Melody's shoulder. "We made it. I'm guessing the others will be here any moment." ---- The creature began to give chase.

"Hopefully. Plus I want to check out the gift shop," replied Hope. ---- The creature began to compose himself, an angry look on his face
