"Sure let's go." ----- "Yes, but it's probably best to wait until he's done doing whatever he is currently," replied Shadow. ---- "I see. Well given the manic circumstances you've described it doesn't surprise me something like this would happen. Just be glad I'm not in Internal Affairs yet," joked Zamy. ---- Hope headed back to the office with her things. "Is everything ready?"
-
Hope laughed. "No, definitely not me." ----- "So long as we can verify it's safe. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you just for this," said Shadow. ---- "Yes... ahem. Are you two, together, if you don't mind my asking?" asked Zamy, as she noticed the two leaning on one another. ---- Hope's collar dropped to the floor as she ran outside, making her way to the evidence room not too far away. Subduing the guard inside she took his keycard and found the belongings she had with her when she was captured. A vial containing a green liquid, a belt with a device on the buckle which she put on, and a medium sized black box.
-
"Fair point " --- "Do you know if it's even possible?" asked Shadow. ------ "As do I. It wasn't exactly ehat they signed up for." ---- Hope unlocked the room then headed out of the office. "Alright then. I just need to grab some of my equipment."
-
"It might be. Unfortunately for us." --- "Very well," replied Shadow. ---- "It's ok. I'll know soon enough. Sometimes it takes a while for mail to get back." --- Hope rushed into the warden's office and pulled out her syringe, jabbing it into his neck and pressing down the plunger to sedate him. She then headed to his console to release the doors on the evidence room.
-
"It's still a very odd trait." --- "No I didn't. My friends went in, whether they werevregular cops or SWAT. Haven't heard from them in a while." ----- Hope saw Miles with the key card and hanged back, waiting for him to use it.
-
"That sounds dreadful. Especially if you happen to be the target of unwanted affection. Good thing we humans lack such quirks," said Hope. --- "Yes it was just before the war. I was lucky." ----- Hope kept her eye on the warden's office, waiting for her chance to slip in when a guard went in or out.
-
"No it's fine. I gave her a good yelling to." --- "Yesh. I think it was just a case of them needing people like me at the time." --- Hope heard the bell and dprang into action, heading for the warden's office through the crowd of prisoners.
-
"Well it wasn't, trust me," said Hope. ---- "I got in because of my interest and work in psychology. They put me in the liaison role because of it."
-
"She was just snappy because of her headache," replied Hope. --- "Well that may be the case. I didn't go through regular academy training after all."
-
"As far as I can tell," replied Hope. --- "Well I'm not one to blindly believe everything I'm told."
-
"I think you might be on to something Ziona."
-
"Somehow that Internal Affairs job is looking real comfortable now," joked Zamy.
-
"It's fine. I've made it through tough situations before," said Zamy.
-
"I was expecting it to be complicated, but not to this extent."
-
"That doesn't fill me with much confidence," replied Zamy.
-
"If she or anyone else does decide to that, I can assure you they'll regret it."
-
"I doubt I'll run into her anyway. Once I set up my accommodation it's not like anyone will just be able to barge in unannounced," said Zamy. --- "Alright then, let's find a spot to practice," said Hope.
-
"Sure Anna. The more the merrier." ---- "Ok. Thanks, I think that's everything now," replied Zamy.
-
"Yeah racing sounds a lot more enjoyable," said Hope. --- "Well yes actually. I know about the out of Zoners, but who're the Prime Zoners?" asked Zamy. --- Hope acknowledged Miles' signal.
-
Zamy laughed at Ziona's joke. "Yes I do a suitcase that I need to pick up. Nothing fancy in it, but it'll help me blend in." --- "Erm, ok. How hard can it be?" asked Hope. --- Hope R headed back into the canteen and saw Miles. She gave a simple nod to him to show she was ready.
-
Hope got up from her table and began to head over to the aforementioned hole. This wretch was proving to be rather useful to her, though she still hadn't decided in what matter to rid herself of him once she had what she wanted. Making sure no one was looking she crouched down and collected the items. Everything she requested was there. Now she could subdue the warden cleanly: killing him would only intensify her pursuit and would gain her nothing. She prepared several syringes, some to deal with the warden and any guards, and two others as her insurance against Miles. Given their small size she managed to hide them on her person without them printing. ---- "I think it's pretty much guaranteed," joked Zamy.
-
"I can tell this is going to be a more... eventful assignment than I'm used to," said Zamy.
-
"Exactly. I just hope they take that into consideration," Zamy replied before seeing the rings Spark gave her. "Erm, thank you."
-
"Go ahead," replied Hope. --- "Unfortunately you're right. They aren't gonna let him off easy."
-
"I think a better question is who didn't hear about it. He's gained quite a lot of supporters in the rank and file," said Zamy. --- "Maybe, or maybe... you need to use it," said Hope.
