"Just me," replied Crowley as he was flicking through a car magazine.

Hope sighed and looked at her PDA, tapping a few things on screen before turning to Shadow. "I might as well get back to work then. No point just standing around here." "That's a fair point. Come on," he said before Chaos Controlling to the lab. Hope walked over to a series of diagrams and equations she'd drawn up on a whiteboard, getting straight back into her work. "I'm working on a form of laser, with potentially more penetrating power than the standard infantry rifle we use, and also without the issue of reloading which should help with logistics. The only problem so far is the battery. I need something both small and highly efficient to minimise bulk and having to swap them out in the field." "Don't worry, you'll get it eventually Hope."

And Shadow couldn't justify potentially letting a soldier die needlessly just for Locke, bearing in mind Locke shouldn't even be at the GUN infirmary). "You'll never find a doctor easily in this place. We may as well take him back to Haven. And Dylan, Locke just fell unconscious. I don't know how, but then again that's not my area of expertise," said Shadow.

"That could work," he replied.

Zamy put him into the recovery position. "He'll be fine by the looks of it," she said to try and reassure Melody. "I don't know any hospitals around here. And I can't take him to GUN: we have operations on round the clock and need that infirmary space for our soldiers," said Shadow.

Internally, Zamy groaned. If this guy was going to collapse when he didn't get his way, he stood no chance of dealing with the three Moebian children. None theless she headed over to see if he was ok. Crowley disappeared off back to the hotel, deciding to have no part in things. Hope wandered over to Shadow. "I'm so glad humans don't have to deal with things like this," she whispered: he simply nodded in agreement.

"Safe? You're acitng as if they're doing something recklessly dangerous. Can you not get it through your thick skull that as Skye clearly stated, the risks, if they do go through with the ritual at all, are very minor. Can you not listen to the expert for once rather than acting as if they're jumping off a cliff?" asked Shadow, annoyed with Locke's melodrama.

"You were never in control in the first place. The sooner you accept that the better," said Shadow.

"Before you go any further in your control freak act, could you at least have the common decency to CALL ME BY MY NAME! I'm Hope, not Shadow, Shadow is over there. He's a hedgehog, I'm a human. It's not difficult," said Hope angrily.

"From how Skye's described it you suggesting it's somehow life endangering is both melodramatic and flying in the face of the facts. Skye is far more knowledgeable on this subject than you Locke. More knowledgeable than any of us in fact. At the end of the day, this is Anna's choice. Not yours, or anyone elses" said Hope to Locke.

"Yes she did. Like I said before. If the ritual isn't that risky then by all means do it. If it is, it might be safer not to. Skye's the expert on this."

"I see. So she wants to do a ritual to get rid of her chaos powers in an effort to appease me. May as well make an appearence," he said before using chaos control to get him and Melody to the group.

Shadow came out of his room with a sigh. "What now?"

"If you think so go get him. I can't get there as fast as you," replied Hope.

Zamy shook her head. "No way. That data is for Zone Cops only."

"Yes couldn't you just give her speed again?" asked Hope

"She wants to get rid of them Glen. That's her choice, not yours," said Hope.

"It does seem like it," replied Hope. Crowley got up from his chair. "Yes I am," he said before teleporting to the café.

Zamy ate her breakfast as Hope waited for Melody to return.

Hope nodded and put the amulet on. "Thanks," she said aloud.

"Do you want to tell Crowley Anna's here?" thought Hope.

"Yeah, though I'm guessing this is easy going relatively speaking," replied Zamy.

"Let's hope we don't have any more repeats of that," muttered Zamy.

"Ok then," said Zamy as their breakfasts arrived.
