"I'm sure we can get some lethal weapons on backup. And yes I did, what she did to those people...,," Zamy shuddered.
-
"That's noted. Maybe those rubber bullets or bean bag rounds. They're less likely to be lethal unless you aim at the head but they can still put some hurting on him."
-
"Alright then. We can't kill him because that would send Anna overboard. I'll see if I can get anything less lethal delivered. I doubt that's in high demand on the frontlines, but if they won't send anything due to some stupid regulation, I remember something else in the regs about authority to take stuff on duty, so maybe Shadow can set us up with some riot control equipment."
-
"I see your point. Yes, it might be best to tell them, I just hope the parents don't overreact. Should I try and appropriate us some better tools if he does show up? If he can bust out of Zone Jail I doubt trying to whack him with a baton will be effective."
-
Zamy sighed and spoke in a hushed voice so the others didn't overhear. "I've called in the implants, but I just got word there was a break out from Zone Jail. It was Miles, and Hope Robotnik, the one from Moebius. Given what she's in for, it's likely she's already offed him, though it may be possible she's using him somehow. She's not the top to keep dead weight around, but still, we should be on the look out for him. There's also the question of whether we tell Anna. It might make her have another breakdown."
-
Zamy went outside and pulled out a communicator. "Hello, control? It's Zamy. I'm going to need some of the sub dermal implants... yes I know it's for emergencies only... ok thank you... wait, what!? You're kidding me? Ok I'll be on the lookout for him." Zamy put the device away and stuck her head back inside, motioning for Ziona to come over.

"You'll get food soon enough I'm sure," ---- "I see. How humble of him to mix with the commoners rather than crush them like a despot. And those two are from the future? An interesting development. And here I thought time travel was a distant phenomena."
-
Hope laughed. "I'm just stating the truth," ---- "Yes. So who are these people?"
-
"Nowhere. No one's even cooked anything here yet. Though I've already eaten. Mmm that bacon was good," thought Hope. ---- "Dreams and cookery? Not exactly what I want. It appears the ULs are rather quiet. To be expected."
-
"Yes they did," thought Hope. ----- "Very well then. So long as they don't scatter beforehand," said Hope.
-
"I'd hardly call this early. Then again I'm used to it," thought Hope. ---- "That would prove useful to see if they'll say where they're going today."
-
"Well maybe you should get to sleep earlier," joked Hope. ---- "She looks perfectly happy. Ignorance is bliss. It seems a shame to tear her away from that for someone's selfish desire. At least I do things with grand goals in mind," thought Hope. --- Zamy walked into the main room and poured herself some juice, hoping today would be easy going.
-
"Of course. My first thought is that for my triumphant return there's very little fanfare," joked Hope. Shadow and Rouge sat on the sofa nearby, the latter letting out a weary yawn. ---- Hope came over to the screen and looked at the image. "No matter, patience is a virtue... it appears I do indeed have a counterpart on Mobius. How delightful. Finally I have an equal," she said joyously.
-
"Good morning," replied Hope "Hey sleeping beauty, wake up. I'm back," thought Hope when she saw Melody.
-
Shadow, Hope and Rouge reappeared in the main room back at the hotel, greeted by Crowley who was sat in his usual chair. "Thanks for bringing me back here so soon after you got your mission done. How'd it go?" asked Hope. "Fairly well. I'm just glad we're not liable for Omega's property damage," replied Shadow. ------ Hope was casually flicking through her journal when Miles spoke. "Excellent. Hopefully they shouldn't prove too elusive," she said, well rested due to the protection her bubble gave her.

(OOC No they won't have yet).
-
(OOC Yeah I'm fine with it).

Hope R wandered around the ruined base, injecting a small amount of her serum into the unconscious guards to make them more malleable when they woke up. She then made her way back the basement and let out a bored yawn.
-
"So, any word on your next assignment?" asked Hope. "Not yet. I brought Rouge over earlier so I assume she's still looking through them, it is still quite early after all." replied Shadow. "When you get to pick your mission you can tell it's a slow 'season'. Not that I'm complaining," she joked.
-
Hope jotted down her notes and checked the time, hopping on to a stall when she realised she had time to kill for now.
-
(OOC She's at work. She has a job to do. Right now she doesn't need to be a kid and to act like a kid in her lab would have dire consequences. She's acted like a kid plenty of times, now it's time to get work done).
-
(OOC She's working for the military. Given her intellect it's obvious they'd task her with improving their weaponry at some point, along with pretty much everything else. They are at war with Eggman after all. The easier they can take care of his robots, the better).

Hope was still studying the diagram of the rifle. "I might be able to get a battery small enough to not take up too much room or be too heavy, but it might not last overly long." "What about a quick change system? Perhaps store the battery in the butt of the rifle or.... wait here." Shadow rushed to the armoury and returned with a pump action shotgun and a shell in his hand. "Why not make the system for replacing the battery similar to this shotgun in principle? You have your battery in the receiver of the rifle," he said as he loaded the shell and chambered it. "Once it's expended, say, after 100 shots for arguments sake, you pump it, ejecting the depleted battery and putting a new one into place. Same after that until the magazine tube below the barrel is empty. Then you could either load one straight into the rifle through the ejection port, or top up the magazine so you have more in reserve," he suggested. Hope nodded. "Yes, I think that would work nicely. It'll be far easier to design a mass producable battery with a limited charge than try and work out how to make a highly efficient one of the same size."
-
"I'd prefer to get this work done. I'll join you later," said Zamy.
-
"You go, I'll stay here and start working on any emergency paperwork we might potentially need, though hopefully I won't actually have to file them," said Zamy.
