"Sorry Miles. And maybe you're adjusted to both Zones so you can't feel any difference. You did grow up here on Moebius after all."

""Oh, sorry. I thought you wanted to get going."

"She might do. And sure, let's go," said Zamy before activating her teleporter.

"He is a highly secretive person. And she might have promised him something. Perhaps sharing her crown, or something he'd want? I don't really know what his interests and tastes are."

Zamy burst out laughing. "I don't know how Alicia keeps him around."

"Well you may be guaranteeing Crowley a paycut, but that'll do nicely. I'm sure there'll be more than enough there."

"What kind of resources are we talking about? We only need enough to pay rent for a 2 bedroom apartment or something."

"As much as I'd like to I don't think I could afford it, or justify putting it on my expenses... hmmm. We can still have a look thouģh."

Zamy laughed. "No arguments here."

"I guess. Let's just move on."

"Ok. Sorry for bringing it up," replied Zamy.

"That's a fair point."

"I see what you mean. I guess it just shows people can change given the right circumstances."

"Can you blame them? If Melody and Skye kept their Moebian attitude, they'd probably have been killed or locked up by now."

"Skye was on the receiving end of a beating from Shadow, and basically got resocialised by his adopters in a manner. Melody got socialised and made a friend. It's basically luck being on our side."

"I know. But she seems to be forgiving, so all should be well."

"You shouldn't really feel bad unless you caused it, which you didn't."

"That's the whole point of it. It allows you to understand other people's situations."

"Why not?"

"Yes, that's it."

"It'd be pretty cold to threaten Melody, given her current condition."
